The company has given up ownership interests in exchange for the cancellation of debt and stock warrants and has also launched a rights offering. Morgans Hotels Group (MHGC) plans to sell its London hotels for close to $295M in a deal expected to close in Q4. The company says it will continue to operate the hotel under long-term management agreements, and use the sale proceeds to retire mortgage debt tied to the hotels. Shares are inactive premarket after selling off 5% Friday.
