If Intel disappoints after the bell look out below for Micron. It could very well hit its 52 week low and beyond. Intels and Micron partnership in flash isnt been showing much and i beleive it ha been put on hold or cut back. I was surprised to see Micron spike as it did when they posted a qtr as terrible as it was. The media and analyst pumped this stock up. If it was another stock it would have been trading in the mid 2's. Well it very well be down there by t/m if Intel post a bad one and the best is to cover now in case it happens. With Microns bad numbers like i said i was surprised it spiked as high as it did. Just watch out way below if Intel post a bad Qtr like AMD there will be no bottom to Micron because Intel will prove that the subprime mess has hit technology which has been beleived to be a safe haven in recession. Microns share price should have reflected the bad qtr it had. ReplyGoing Schluming - Cramer's Lightning Round (4.11.08) [view article]
Norman, the great thing is that now you can check Cramer's track record on any stock by going to the quote page on this site and clicking on the Cramer tab. That shows you all the times he mentioned the stock. No hiding, right?

PFE has over 100 drugs in the pipeline and puts approx $7.6 billion into R&D every year. Cramer should do his homework. Of course this is the same guy that raved about MOT at 20 and said Ed Zander was the best. Remember? What can anyone expect? He is horrible!! CNBC should get him off the air. I change the channel as soon as his show comes on as I can't stand to listen to this man any more. ReplyMerck and SGP's Vytorin/Zetia: Are Doctors Writing Fewer Scripts? [view article]
Crestor only statin to have indication for reducing plaque. That is what it is all about. Also CRP Jupiter Study show pts with normal LDL and no high blood pressure or diatetes, had better outcomes on Crestor 20mg. The inflammation marker is the key. Vytorin has nothing, I repeat nothing. Also one of SGP exec's sold shares prior to the negative news. That person will get hammered!!No Brag Just Facts!! Reply

Why Seeking Alpha must publish the Bald-Tout's losers every single day is a mystery ..Cramer and his Fast Money cohorts all address their own agendas and promote their own positions, which means, they win, you lose !Stop with Cramer already ..This snake-oil salesman gets more air time than any loser should ever be allowed to get. The entire gang of thieves at CNBC should be investigated by the sleeping SEC..
An endless parade of losers/promoters/touts... traders/ all day long and into the night. Do your own homework and turn off the tv ! Reply

Are running out of idea?all you have to publish is cramer show ? ReplyGoing Schluming - Cramer's Lightning Round (4.11.08) [view article]
Very credible advice from a guy that owns Mastercard !At least we know who Cramer is and what he is, unlike so many of the mystery authors of seeking alpha 'commentary' who seem unwilling to post resumes. Reply
Merck, Schering-Plough: Confessions of a Vytorin Patient [view article]
You made a good point, bmc. There are some fundamental assumptions that need to be questioned.
Until then, moving from Vytorin to Zocor makes no sense at all. Reply

Iknowjack, you don't seem to understand what those who have used (not just read some useless studies) Vytorin are telling you. It simply works better than statins while lowering HDL/LDL ratio very successfully. Now you know where to stick all these charlatanic studies you have been reading !!! Reply

Go read the Jupiter Study, then stick Vytorin in the trash!!! ReplyMerck and SGP's Vytorin/Zetia: Are Doctors Writing Fewer Scripts? [view article]
If CNBC’s Pharmaceutical Reporter focused less on misguided study or census findings and more on patient/doctor insights he would do himself and his audience a great service. He must be in that ignorant minority who believe that those who are on Vytorin will switch out to other medications because of a botched –up panel discussion !! All the doctors I spoke with are amazed at the media coverage of an isolated and ill-conceived study whose findings, delivered as a monologue, defied all scientific conventions of an interactive panel discussion. As a patient who has tried everything over the last 25 years, I know that Zetia delivers amazing LDL lowering effects and that for patients who need a statin along with Zetia (and there are plenty apparently), nothing beats Vytorin in convenience and economics.
It is about time we start reporting facts and not survey resullts of projected intentions bordering on fiction.

What this trial shows is that having a LDL level of 193 or 141 (down from 320) makes no difference with respect to your chances of getting a CVD or increased IMT. This calls into question the reliability of LDL as an indicator of CVD risk. Ergo, it indicates that it makes no sense to try to lower it, because if LDL is not an indicator, it can even less be the *cause* of CVD.If previous trials showed a relationship between LDL level and CVD risk, this trial clearly contradicts them. The scientific method requires for the previous trials to be reviewed very thoroughly, and for new, more sophisticated, higher resolution trials to be carried out if no flaws can be found in the old trials nor in this one. Saying that if Vytorin does not work we should go back to Zocor is not science, it is not medicine but thaumaturgy. Reply
