anyone know why $SBI and $MUI can vary so much on a daily basis when they appear to have similar intermediate term muni bonds holdings?

Muni madness: Adjust your bond brackets 'cause muni bond funds are rising from the ashes. Biggest gainers today: $MUI +2.6%, $NPT +1.8%.

: Most muni bond funds are currently yielding 5-7%.

: Interesting to note that muni fund yields are higher than many high dividend equity-based funds.

: Haven't looked at these in detail but I'd consider those that trade at higher volumes (BFK, MYI, MUI, ITM, PZA). Also, check fund tax status

: Muni's have been smokin' for a while. No personal faves. Not sure if a fund in your state is free of state tax...

: Thanks. No state income tax in Nevada. I was referring to fed taxes.

$MUI completed a Break Out candlestick pattern on 01/28/2011. Look for an upward price movement on 01/31/2011
