DAG1996: plus, i average in to all holdings so it doesn't mater if i time the bottoms exactly right, which i consider impossible anyway

DAG1996: @NickS2001, i totally agree... GE's worst years are in the rear-view. it was a core holding for me for years and now is again going forward.

Mike Arnold: Agreed. MWA will report a profit in 2012. With housing seemingly at its trough, this stock goes higher.

DAG1996: agreed. infrastructure updates too. MWA has already performed very well lately and i think it'll be even better as a long-term play.

sstonerm3: Dag, NYC metro area is stronger than most RE markets. Agree not the reason to buy NYCB though.

DAG1996: watching CHK for entry point. gonna hold off on NYCB for now, but will probably still buy
