The Ins and Outs of Terror-Free Investing [view article]
    Mr. Shaw

Terror-free investing as a national policy might or might not work. The unilateral decisions of the US haven't worked out very well e are the best electronics designed and manufactured? Not in our clately, but lets put that aside.

Who decides what is a terror state? Could China be on that list because of its policies in Tibet? What about Russia and the disappearance of its citizens? What about the US in Iraq and Afghanistan; aren't we terrorizing part of their populations? Is the decision made by someone stuck at a desk in the corner who's name and character are unknown? Maybe we could make it with decisions of congress?

If everything goes OK, who moves in when we move out? The French, Russia, China? How about Venezuela? Maybe North Korea?
Wouldn't it be a welcome change to see North Koreans helping out Pakistani Citizens with all their nuclear needs?

The economic and political power of the US is dwindling as other countries of the world move toward the center stage. Where are the fastest grown economies? Which countries are graduating the most engineers, scientists, and business majors? Where are the best and newest examples of architecture? Not in our country.

For terror free investing to work on a global scale would require the combined efforts of several independent nations. The US will need to find a new attitude of pragmatism and co-operation as its influence diminishes over the coming decades.

However, everything else aside, the idea has merit. On an individual basis, or perhaps dedicated "terror free" fund, we could give it a try.

The new symbol appears to be NHYDY.PK.
I bought 100 shares of NHY in a US brokerage account last month before the delist and have not been asked to liquidate, etc. Since it's been moved to the Pink sheets, I can't get timely intra day quotes, however, a big difference from before.

are you sure about being able to keep the shares after delisting? they delisted ABB a number of years ago, and kind Mr Levitt forced me (and others) to sell my shares since I wasnt a quaified investor. I had them as part of my core holding; the stock was a c. 5 bagger since. Reply

Jim Cramer's Mad Money Lightning Round 10/2/07: Bucyrus Comes Back [view article]
10/24 OCT.3RD JIM CRAMER SAY I WANT YOU IN NSTK NOT ISIS! NSTK HAS BECOME A WHITE ELEPHANT FOR HIM AFTER 36 TOUTS AND HE LOOKS EVEN MORE FOOLISH DOWNGRADING ISIS BECAUSE IT HAS CONTINUED TO PERFORM BETTER THAN NSTK TO DATE, AND WILL HAVE BETTER EARNINGS THAN NSTK ON NOV.8TH AND LASTLY WILL MORE THAN LIKELY HAVE A SPECTACULAR DRUG APPROVED BY THE FDA BY 3RD WEEK OF NOVEMBER.
NSTK WILL CONTINUE TO GO DOWN BECAUSE THE YEAR END EARNINGS REPORT IS WORST OF ALL COME MARCH 2008! GIVE IT UP CRAMER, STOP BEATING THE NSTK DRUMS!

10/08 Cramer is beginning to look real foolish pumping & touting nstk. Recently he said"I want you in nstk not isis. Since then Isis has made headline 3 times, including RNAI write up, Zack's recommendation as a buy by senior analysts, and today ahead of the bell article. However no news on nstk in the same time frame. I think Cramer is starting to look real foolish with all the Touts on nstk nationally! Reply

10/04 WHY DOESN'T SEEKING ALPHA HAVE JIM CRAMER'S LIGHTNING ROUND FROM 9/26 WHEN HE STATED "DON'T BUY"
"I LIKE IT AT $12 DOLLARS"?
Between over hype and unpublished items, an investor is totally mislead to a degree. We need fair balance and that calls for someone like Michael Shulman from Biotech Blitz. Read his articles about RNAI.

10/4 In all fairness lets reflect for a minute. From March 2007 until September 25 Cramer has touted NSTK 32 times already.
On 9/26 the day after his buy recommendation video he stated on the lightning round Don't Buy wait until $12 dollars I like it at $12.
Now on 10/03 lightning round he wants you back in nstk because of RNAI and then he mentioned obesity & diabetes. Is it because the stock ran up yesterday and today at NSTK"s luncheon there is a guest speaker re:RNAI ? Well todays guest will speak about
"POTENTIAL APPLICATION OF RNAI" POTENTIAL IS POTENTIAL!
LASTLY IT IS EQUALIY POTENTIAL THAT COME MARCH 2008 WHEN THEIR YEAR END EARNINGS COMES OUT THAT NSTK WILL SET NEW LOWS! "TO MUCH HYPE AND IT IS UNWARRANTED".

Not many stocks rising last week... Yesterday's end of day rally was a wild one, but the volume came in selling at the close. Reply

Out of many voices comes one helluva story and no voice is insignificant. Remember that little butterfly in the Amazon helping cause the storms in Kansas? We're all part of the grand scheme of things to one extent or another.

Unfortunately the earnings were up but the stock went down...go figure.

Yep. Hopefully the one extra voice added to the discussion. If not, I guess worst case is my incremental hot air was insignificant in the scheme of things. Reply
