    I recall Cramer on CNBC calling the Nuecor Secondary a stupid move by the company. Now he is saying it was a buy buy buy.

    I also remember him touting Yahoo a play than a week later he is bashing the stock.

    MTL and NUE are off to the races this morning leading the market charge upward. It is tough to bet against the momentum darlings of the day.

    For some reason, short advice is usually more wrong than long recos. Look at the BOBE short plug of June 3 and the historic rise in the price of that turkey on June 4.

    We know the bear raiders on WS are the big money makers for their employers. Why can't the public seem to participate is this gravy?     Reply

    Although I tried to read Speaking Alpha daily, I must admit that this is the first time I came across this post (Fast Money recap). I tried to view Fast Money daily - but the last segment (Final trade) is usually mumbled and not repeated. So, this post serves a very useful purpose, particularly for those slow-pokes like me.
    Before typing this comment, I re-read the title of this post. I think I know one reason why it had not attracted my attention earlier -- the heading is not attractive enough. In my view, it should read: Fast Money Recap - 6/3/08: Leery on Lehman.     Reply

    Im also bullish on CHK. Aubrey reportedly bought another 400,000 shares of his own company between May 30th and June 2nd. Im not willing to bet against him, he has great determination! Wonder what the next news will bring? Have a Happy Day. Reply

    Im also bullish on CHK. Aubrey bought another 400,000 shares between Friday May 30th and Monday June 2nd according to Market Insider. His kids also apparently bought a large number of shares. He is really sending a message. Wonder what news will come out next to make him soo bullish?? Reply

    I find it rather ironic that sold many "overbrought"...
    energy stocks were listed when the whole world
    knows we have had, and still have a real energy problem. Just an observation, form your own conclusions.

    cos1000 is right - Cramer is an entertainer. You still have to do your own homework and be strong in your convictions.

    He told me to buy AMGN and UNH and CWTR after they had run up and I was too much of a newbie to know when to get out, and I got hurt. On the other hand, I bought RIG and NSC and OXY because of his positive take (got a double in RIG!).

    I am wiser now. A company has to meet my definition of a solid performer. I only buy on pullbacks and take profits after runups. I still listen to JC for the entertainment, but I add a position he has recommended maybe only once a month.     Reply
