    I read your columns often and like what you write, that's why I posted here to ask for your opinion on CALM. Last Friday after 3pm, CALM had the following calls:
    20 vol 8941, Open Int 358;
    22.5 -8909-371;
    25-52748-2233 ,
    but by Monday morning, the Open interests are 288 for 20, 109 for 22.50 and 266 for 25.
    My question is what happened, something was done over the weekend, how????
    Here's more info on CALM, it has 13M shorts as of last Friday, the float is about 12M.
    Any idea? anyone has any comments?     Reply

    I don't know the company, but it sure looks interesting. Technically, it would be nice to hold 1.75. The company is seemingly deficient in cash - it would appear that there will be either an equity or debt offering this year. If they become profitable as forecast this year, the stock could get some attention - diagnostics have been hot. Reply

    the enterpise value $61 less cash of almost $10=$51 has been marked down to $22s/$23 which might highten takeover appeal of enterprise at a value $35 to $40 plus the $10 in cash makes for a near term, if any, takeout value of $45 to $50 ENTERPRISE + CASH. Reply
