The PowerShares RiverFront Tactical Growth & Income Portfolio (Fund) is based on the RiverFront Global Tactical Balanced Growth & Income Index™ (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in the securities included in the Index. The Fund is a "fund of funds," as it primarily invests its assets in the securities of funds included in the Index, but may also invest in ETNs and equity and fixed income securities included in the Index. The Index is optimized relative to a growth risk profile targeting approximately 50% equities and 50% fixed-income securities. The Index will rebalance monthly, although weekly rebalancing may be necessary in volatile markets or for risk management purposes. Effective June 30, 2010, the name of the PowerShares Autonomic Balanced NFA Global Asset Portfolio changed to PowerShares RiverFront Tactical Growth & Income Portfolio. Its underlying index also changed to the RiverFront Global Tactical Balanced Growth & Income Index™. Prior to June 30, 2010, the Fund's underlying index was the New Frontier Global Dynamic Balanced Index.
