Actually stocks will eventually correct 70%. If at the bottom, the ones that do not go out of business will be great buys. Which ones? Only the Shadow knows ReplyBest and Worst Performing Stocks of the Current Bear Market [view article]
Does anyone honestly think Las Vegas, the world's largest resort combine is just going to disappear? Then let me sell you some vacant land on Mt. Everest. This is a golden opportunity to accumulate LVS MGM, Boyd and Wynn shares at fire sale prices. If that wasn't enough, add Macau, the largest gambling mecca in the world which is frosting on the cake.Daniel Kowkabany Reply

All pharmaceutical and food products should be clearly labeled, in large readable letters, to reveal the origin of ingredients. Consumers have a right to free informed choice and the option to refuse products made in China. "Made in the USA" means preservation of health, more jobs, fewer mortgage defaults. There are also uses of gold for those of you saying that all the gold is still available as a traded commodity. For one, gold goes into computers, paints, and other products where the gold is not readily recoverable. On the whole, however, the use of silver is much more abundant than gold. @earl ... I was talking about something else, but I think you're referring to a $2 premium, which makes me curious now. Can you post a link? The lowest premium I've seen on Kruggerand is about $11. And that one requires wire, else the check takes 3 weeks.@spin ... If I was you, I would keep the .38 separate from the stash, somewhere more accessible. ;-) Reply

I have a little pile of gold stashed in a false floor in my bedroom - along with a 38 caliber revolver. Reply
