On paper, net earnings fell 17% Y/Y, but that number is skewed from a one-time acquisition gain, which masked a 10% rise in total revenue over the same period last year. The company has struggled in recent quarters as patients reduced their use of health-care services, but early this year the company completed a streamlining process which gave a big boost to bottom line margins.
