However, our operations began in 1998 as a limited partnership, which became our subsidiary through a corporate reorganization completed on August 21, 2001. The company’s name was changed to Rackspace Hosting, Inc. on June 5, 2008 through a merger with one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries.
