- Thursday, April 25, 11:05 AM Light FQ3 guidance isn't stopping F5 (FFIV +5%) from rallying in the wake of its FQ2 report; expectations were depressed thanks to the April 4 warning. On F5's earnings call, management insisted enterprise demand is healthy ahead of a mid-range application delivery controller (ADC) refresh and an update to F5's TMOS OS, even as U.S. telco and federal demand remains weak. Strong momentum was also claimed for F5's firewall and 4G infrastructure offerings. Nomura has upgraded shares to Buy, arguing "the market may be overstating the competitive risks to F5" from Citrix (CTXS - previous). Up in sympathy: RDWR +4%. RVBD +4.8%. Comment! [Tech, Earnings, On the Move]
- Thursday, April 25, 6:37 AM Radware (RDWR): Q1 EPS of $0.15 in-line. Revenue of $45.1M misses by $0.54M. (PR) Comment! [Earnings, Breaking News, Tech]
- Friday, April 5, 9:26 AM Less than 24 hours after bigger rival F5 issued a March quarter warning, Radware (RDWR) has done the same. The application delivery controller/security hardware vendor says it expects Q1 revenue of $45M and EPS of $0.30, below a consensus of $49.2M and $0.42. Weak EMEA and Chinese sales are blamed; U.S. sales are said to be strong. Shares -16.8% AH. (PR) Comment! [Tech, Earnings, On the Move]

Premarket gainers: XIDE +31%. NIHD +10%. NVAX +5%.
Losers: RIGL -36%. FFIV -18%. RDWR -18%. JNPR -7%. CBMX -5%. Comment! [On the Move] - Tuesday, January 29, 5:54 AM Radware (RDWR): Q4 EPS of $0.48 in-line. Revenue of $49.8M (+5% Y/Y) in-line. (PR) Comment! [Earnings, Breaking News, Tech]
- Friday, October 26, 2012, 6:10 AM Radware (RDWR): Q3 EPS of $0.45 in-line. Revenue of $47.5M (+13% Y/Y) in-line. (PR) Comment! [Earnings, Tech]
- Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 5:14 PM More on F5's FQ4: The company says it's seeing smaller deal sizes, particularly among U.S. enterprise and telecom customers. U.S. revenue growth (+16% Y/Y) trailed international growth (+24%). FQ1 guidance blamed on macro issues and seasonality. Deferred revenue balance reached $447.3M, +3% Q/Q and +30% Y/Y. The report arguably has negative implications for Citrix, Radware, and Riverbed. It looks like Barclays was on the mark. CC underway (webcast). FFIV -10.7% AH. RDWR -1.9%. (PR) 2 Comments [Tech, Earnings, On the Move]
- Wednesday, October 17, 2012, 8:21 AM Cisco (CSCO) and Citrix (CTXS) make their rumored partnership official. Among the details: 1) Cisco will recommend Citrix's NetScaler application delivery controllers (competes with hardware from FFIV and RDWR) to clients. 2) The companies will develop a cloud solution that combines Cisco's UCS servers and Nexus switches with Citrix's CloudPlatform (competes with VMW's vCloud). 3) The companies will develop mobile solutions that feature their collaboration, remote access, and file-sharing tools. 1 Comment [Tech]
- Thursday, October 11, 2012, 5:14 PM F5 (FFIV) is trying to make the most out of Cisco's (CSCO) application delivery controller (ADC) retreat: the company has doubled the payouts it's offering for customers trading in Cisco's ADC hardware for F5's. An F5 exec says the company has already seen many Cisco customers switch. Oppenheimer thinks the opportunity equals 16% of F5's 2011 sales, and notes Radware (RDWR) has also launched Cisco trade-in promotions. Comment! [Tech, Quick Ideas]
- Friday, October 5, 2012, 11:58 AM F5 (FFIV -3.1%) is slumping after Barclays downgrades shares to Equalweight. But smaller rival Radware (RDWR +2.2%) is trading higher after Oppenheimer says checks indicate the application delivery controller vendor will post above-consensus Q3 results on Oct. 26. The firm claims healthy Asia-Pac demand and improving North American sales will offset soft European sales. Comment! [Tech, On the Move]
- Thursday, July 26, 2012, 6:28 AM Radware (RDWR): Q2 EPS of $0.43 in-line. Revenue of $46.8M (+13.7% Y/Y) in-line. (PR) Comment! [Earnings, Tech]
- Wednesday, July 25, 2012, 2:23 PM Juniper (JNPR +12.1%) and Riverbed (RVBD +27.8%), both of whom had forgettable springs, continue to soar after posting Q2 results (I, II), issuing better-than-feared guidance, and striking a partnership related to Riverbed's application delivery controller (ADC) tech. Radware (RDWR -9.2%) is selling off in response: though the company says an existing ADC software deal related to Juniper's edge routers is intact, many were hoping a bigger deal would arrive. (JNPR transcript) (RVBD transcript) Comment! [Tech, On the Move]
- Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 11:45 AM After conducting checks, Oppenheimer thinks Radware (RDWR +6.5%) is in advanced negotiations to license its ADC engine to Juniper (JNPR -0.1%). The firm thinks the deal could be worth about $70M - $100M over three to five years, and lead to an annual EPS increase of about $0.75 per share for Radware. Comment! [Tech]
- Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 8:50 AM Radware (RDWR): Q1 EPS of $0.39 beats by $0.03. Revenue of $45M (+16.6% Y/Y) beats by $0.8M. Shares +2.1% premarket. (PR) Comment! [Earnings, Tech, On the Move]
- Thursday, February 2, 2012, 2:55 PM Radware (RDWR +3.1%) moves up after RBC upped the shares to to Sector Perform earlier today, based on re-accelerating growth, a revamping of its product line and improved earnings visibility. Comment! [Tech, On the Move]
- Wednesday, February 1, 2012, 6:15 AM Radware (RDWR): Q4 EPS of $0.42 beats by $0.05. Revenue of $45.1M (+15.3% Y/Y) beats by $0.8M. (PR) Comment! [Earnings, Tech]
