Net earnings rose 15% Y/Y on solid sales growth out of its medical and scientific-imaging business and RF-technology unit, offsetting declines in its industrial-technology and energy systems-and-controls divisions. Operating margin increased 1.1% to 25.1%. The company raised EPS estimates for the year to reflect its pending acquisition of Managed Health Care Associates.
