General Discussion on RRA
Is this a buy or a sell? ReplyRailroad Stocks Right on Track [view article]
I also left out ethanol (which is providing them with a lot of income) and several other items. BNI hauls just about everything. I just tried to summarize with general categories like chemical products and petroleum products, while adding a couple of interesting commodities such as salt. Why did you leave out coal for BNI? Check Powder River Basin and look at the # of carloads for 2005. Coal hauled east and south, nothing west for 2006. ReplyEditors

Sanz,Please look at our daily post identifying which transcripts will be posted: seekingalpha.com/artic...
We're looking to expand our coverage of transcripts. The fastest way for a new company to get covered is for investors to contact them and ask them to email us to request coverage.
Thanks!

hi,I have been reading seeking alpha transcripts for more than two quarters now, you speed is fantastic. But, one thing i have noticed you cover all the industry toppers. I would like to know if you are covering these tickers: RUTH, PBH, STKL, and CALL? All four companies have their earnings release this week.
Also, I don't know if you are covering any ticker, until the trans appears. Of course previous transcripts gives us an indication. But, is there a way to know your coverge in advance?
Thanks.
You are doing a great job. Keep it up.

Lots of Value Riding the Railroad [view article]
These look like value traps to me. Don't get railroaded into losing equity. If there's a turnaround, you can still participate, but buying them now could be catching a falling knife. ReplyLots of Value Riding the Railroad [view article]
I don't know the freight business well, so bear with me: what's to keep UNP from, well, sucking less and bringing up their margins? They're as big as the others, and trading at the lowest P/S. Sure, because their margins suck. Why? ReplyEditors
