Dynamic Dynegy - Cramer's Lightning Round (5/19/08) [view article]
Strange to hear Cramer say that this is an overcrowded segment.... Solar may well be overcrowded, but there are only two players that make cells for concentrating PV; Emcore and Spectrolab. Spectrolab, aside from being a division of Boeing, is only selling their cells for the satellite market, and hasn't entered the terrestrial market. This leaves emcore as the only player in the terrestrial cell market, so I wouldn't exactly call that section "overcrowded"... ReplyUnder The Radar News - Monday [view article]
is the stat correct, 3 out of 1000 homes in Q1 repossessed?that's 12 out of 1000 a year (1.2 per 100 per year). and since this is cumulative, over 5 years, that's 6 out of 100 or in layman's terms, 1.2 out of 20. holy sh^t !!!! that's pretty f'ing scary !!! Reply

Five Ways to Take Advantage of a Market Correction [view article]
Greetings, good thoughts; I too like to have puts on overpriced stocks in an overheated market and then cash in when the high beta stocks tumble. I own HMX as well, I just left Mexico and the development is running rampant. Quality of life and cost of living are increasing; I expect home ownership and business capital expenditures to increase their rapid pace.In addition to your recommendations, I'd advise diversifying with more than just standard long/short stock positions. I've listed several alternative investment strategies for regular investors including hedge mutual funds, futures sites tied to your local real estate market, high yield stocks and lending through Prosper.com. These days, even the international markets are highly correlated with the U.S. market as evidenced by the Feb 27 Asian meltdown. Even commodities tumbled (usually only about a .4 correlation coefficient with major indices). Hope these strategies provide for some additional diversification. Enjoy.

This is just to great. Geez, i remember Laslow Birinyi from Rukyeser's Wall Street Week. What anintellegent guy he is. I was not aware of TickerSense. I wasn't aware of SeekingAlpha until a few
weeks ago. And now i signedup for a intro trial @ DayTradeTeam the week of my 62nd year of life
on planet Earth. This is to much for a sane man!
Many Thanks to WhoEver, Claude [aka klaudenhemet] My God, iam sorry hungry to make some money. Iam so darn tired of nickels and dimes.
And quartely losses. Iam so tired and disgusted with so many things least of which is my governments
intervention in a soverign nations affairs. Getting rid of its tryant is one thing but chosing its form of
government is quite another. Perhaps this small voice in the NorthWest wilderness should be blogging.
Then again there are to many of those damned things. Whoever took the time to read this obscure
message gets my evening prayer. Best regards, Claude Posella [aka klaudenhemet] Reply
