    Are you sure of your facts? I do not have a transcript of the February 8th broadcast but the week of January 25th Cramer was advising viewers to "sell, sell, sell" MPEL. Reply

    Very interesting and thought provoking. However that focus on technology and yet "better" mouse trap, at the expense of underlying business processes quality, is what leads IT organizations to spiraling costs and diving satisfaction. Reply

    In addition the infrastructure at WM is/was probably one of the worse ever encountered. The data and application integration issues alone were nearly insurmountable. WM is probably a good example of a company that needs to basically replace everything while the business runs. Not an easy task for anyone and most at WM seem to understand lots about waste management but not much about technology. Reply

    I think it reflects poorly on WM. How is it that 10,000+ companies have implemented R/3 with 100s of industry solutions and add-ons with millions of customizations but Waste Management couldn't do it? Reply

    Agree that India cannot sustain 15% hike but it is not that Indian companies behind it but it is the market demand. This increase is also trickling down to other sectors such as Real Estate and Services in India. Once the IT development centers in Eastern Europe and South America catch up with Indian IT salaries, Indian IT firms will have rethink but as of now they still hold the EDGE. Reply

    It seem strange to speculate that there is any reason for a corporate marriage for such a successful company in a growing market segment, but perhaps the reports of scalability issues and doubts in Salesforce ability to resolve these issues in a timely manner are a root of these rumors. Reply

    Doesn't Amazon do it's own affiliate marketing? You'd have thought this is a core competency for a company like eBay.     Reply
