ShengdaTech: Smallcap Opportunity [view article]
Thanks User; I wrote that without benefit of CC as their call was Monday and I wrote it over the weekend.I assumed triple this year's run rate, but it sounds like they meant triple 2007 levels. Thanks for the comment. I can live with $162M in extra sales which is effectively doubling the size of the company. Reply

On CC, company stated Jinan will be triple the sales of 2007 chemical numbers of approx 54 million or 162 million in potential sales from Jinan. Your $200MM estimate is a bit high, but Im long the stock as well and think this is a $20 stock 12 months from now at the least. There are 13000 new cars hitting the road in China every DAY. These cars have tires. NPCC help make tires cheaper. ReplyHoldsworth
ShengdaTech: Chinese Smallcap That Might Be Worth the Risks [view article]
SDTH, despite the risks, is a very compelling and long term investment story. The move, and acquisition, while potentially costly short term, is very positive for SDTH's long term prospects, and its NPCC expansion will bode well for national and international business. There are additional NPCC applications in R&D, such as use on road materials, which will expand its potential future revenue base.Disclosure: Long Reply
ShengdaTech: Chinese Smallcap That Might Be Worth the Risks [view article]
Your article failed to mention SDTH's acquisition of a SOE fertilizer company which will effectively triple SDTH's revenue and be immediately accretive to earnings. This is where a major portion of the funds from SDTH's recent preferred stock issuance are being spent. Most of the remaining balance of those funds is being spent to increase production facilities for its NPCC. Note that SDTH cannot meet the increasing demand for NPCC even with the increased production. It looks like its days of negative cash flow may be nearing their end. While you mention that SDTH has a great leader in Mr. Chen, which is correct, you should also be made aware that SDTH's CFO is extremely good. SDTH's numbers are extremely transparent which is unusual for a Chinese company.
Finally, if you look at the moves made by SDTH in the last year, they are reminiscent of the same moves made by RIO in its nascent stage about seven years ago.
And, yes, I am long SDTH. There is no wonder "why", is there?

NSTK-CACHE-UPDATE-5/6/... SINCE CRAMER STOPPED TOUTING NSTK, I HAD TO UPDATE SEEKING ALPHA EVER SINCE. WHEN HE DID TOUT IT, I DISAGREED WITH HIM. ONE YEAR AGO I SAID THIS WILL BE A LONG HOT SUMMER FOR NSTK. IN OCTOBER 2007 I WARNED INVESTORS THAT THEY WERE AVOIDING ALL THE SIGNS ALONG THE ROAD THAT READ DANGER.AND THAT IF THEY WERE NOT CAREFUL, THAT THEY WOULD GO RIGHT OFF THE CLIFF. WELL IT HAPPENED IN NOVEMBER WHEN THEIR PARTNER BROKE OFF THEIR AGREEMENT.
BY DECEMBER THE NEW TUNE WAS RNAI AND NEW SUBSIDIARY.
BY JANUARY THEIR CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER QUIT. TO CUT DOWN EXPENSES THEY FIRED WORKERS BUT AT THE SAME TIME HIRED A WHOLE NEW BOARD FOR THEIR SUBSIDIARY. MAKES SENSE RIGHT?
THEN THEY SELL NEW ISSUANCE OF SHARES TO PAY DOWN EXPENSES,
RAISED $7.9 MILLION BUT THE SMALL PRINT ON THE BOTTOM SAID MANAGEMENT MAY USE MONEY FOR OTHER ITEMS THAT SHAREHOLDERS MAY NOT AGREE WITH.
RNAI IS IN PRE-CLINICAL STAGE. NSTK HAS YET TO ENTER PHASE 1, THEN COMES PHASE 2 AND THEN PHASE 3. BY THAT TIME YOU WILL HAVE CELEBRATED 7 MORE BIRTHDAYS.
IN 48 HOURS THE EARNINGS REPORT COMES OUT. I SAY IT CAN'T BE GOOD BUT DEDICATED LONGS SAY IT DOESN'T COUNT.
IN FACT NOHING COUNTS WITH THEM EXCEPT FAIRY TALES ABOUT NSTK. FROM $18 DOLLARS TO $1.37 NOW AND THEY THE SHAREHOLDERS, EXPECT NSTK TO RISE ONCE AGAIN. IT IS THIS LOYALTY, THIS DEDICATION, THIS DOWN RIGHT STUPIDITY THAT KEEPS MANAGEMENT IN BUSINESS. I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE RIGHT FOR THE PAST 13 MONTHS ON THIS SITE OR ALL THE OTHERS REGARDING NSTK. INVESTORS ARE NSTK'S BEST PIPELINE. IT MAY BE HARD TO BELIEVE $1.00 ON THE BID BY AUGUST 22, 2008, BUT LOOK AT THE FACT THAT AFTER 24 YEARS THE STOCK PRICE IS $1.37 AND THE COMPANY IS NOWHERE. OVERSOLD AND DILUTED. Reply

Nstk should list for all to see who bought up$7.9 million dollars worth of stock. It would make the guiness book of records for having so many idiots on one page! No wonder companies like this keep lining managements pockets. There are so many gullable stupid people in this world. Reply

NSTK-APRIL25TH, 2008 NSTK RAISES $7.9 MILLIONIN STOCK SALE AT $1.73, SO TODAY THE STOCK WENT DOWN FROM $2.18 TO ABOUT $1.40 BY 2:30P.M. I STATED THIS STOCK WOULD BE A $1.00 ON THE BID BY AUGUST 2008 BUT WHAT I'D REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHO ARE THE INDIVIDUAL OR GROUPS OF IDIOTS THAT WOULD BUY THIS STOCK AFTER THREE COMPANIES DIVORCED THEM, AND HARDLY ANY SALES, AND BURN RATE OUT OF CONTROL. THEY SHOULD THOSE WHO BOUGHT TODAY FOR US ALL TO SEE THE IDIOTS NAMES.
FROM $18 DOLLARS TO $1.40.
DO YOU THINK THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL YET.
NOBODY LISTENS AND I GUESS WHEN THEY READ BANKRUPTCY IN THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, THEN MAYBE THEY WILL REALIZE WHAT HAS HAPPENED! Reply

3/18/08 Update-NSTK: Since I have to post the latest news because for some reason SEEKING-ALPHA, IS EITHER TO BUSY OR FORGETS TO POST THE LATEST NEWS CONCERNING NSTK, HERE IT IS:MORNINGSTAR
Nastech 4Q Loss Widens, Has Doubts About Going Concern
3-17-08 5:12 PM EDT | E-mail Article | Print Article
DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
Nastech's financial filings included a note from its independent accountant saying the company's recurring losses and accumulated debt "raise substantial doubt" about the company's ability to continue as a going concern. The company is restructuring its business, reducing its workforce and renegotiating vendor agreements.
**THIS IS WHAT YOU DON’T READ IN THE FINANCIAL REPORT THAT WAS RELEASED!
AS AN INVESTOR, DO YOU KNOW HOW ALARMING THIS IS?
AS INVESTORS GO THROUGH THE ‘MINE FIELD’, ALL THEY HEAR IS
GOOD NEWS AND WONDERFUL COMPLICATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.
BUT FRUITION OF MURPHY’S LAW IS EVER PRESENT!
MY OPINION IS THAT NSTK WILL BE A $1 DOLLAR ON THE BID BY AUGUST,
BUT THE ABOVE INTERPRETATION OF MORNINGSTAR IS QUITE ALARMING! Reply

NSTK:MARCH 17-UPDATE! PLENTY OF NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS SINCE MARCH 5TH BUT NO YEAR END EARNINGS REPORT YET! INVESTORS INT THE DARK, BUT MANAGEMENT HAS THE BEST INTEREST IN MIND FOR THE SHAREHOLDERS. AT THIS VERY EARLY POINT IN TIME RE:RNAI, THE QUESTION IS WILL NSTK BE ABLE TO STAY AFLOAT MUCH LONGER UNTIL A FINANCIAL RESCUE SHIP COMES TO IT'S RESCUE? LET'S SEE, OVER 1,000 NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS SINCE 1984 AND NSTK IS $2 DOLLARS AND CHANGE TODAY. IS THIS REALLY A 'DEAL OR 'NO DEAL'? ReplyBest, Worst Performers Since the 10/9 Top [view article]
NSTK:UPDATE-MARCH 8, NEW SUBSIDIARY MAY NOT COME TO PASS NOW AS STATED BY DR.QUAY RECENTLY. THE STOCK IS AROUND $2.12 NOW AND IN DAYS THE EARNINGS REPORT COMES OUT. IN MY OPINION IT CONTINUES TO MAKE NEW LOWS AND BY SUMMER, AUGUST, IT SHOULD BE AROUND A $1.00 BID. REVENUE DOWN EXPENSES UP.WHEN IS THE INSTITUTIONS,FUNDS AND RESEARCH FIRMS
GOING TO WAKE UP? Reply

UPDATE-NSTK:2/28/08 Novice investors were given false hope when the stock ran up from $2.02 to $2.79 just about 48 hours ago.As of yesterday, Wednesday, the stock closed back to $2.19.
Hefty profits made by institutions/Hedge funds running it up and then shorting the stock, is my opinion. In 6days the Earnings report comes out, and my summation is that continued New Lows will occur.
Question now is will the Research Firms who cover NSTK continue to
Stand by with their outperform and ridiculous Target prices as NSTK keeps setting new lows? Reply
