Cramer is unreliable on Jun/5 he recomends SLT as buy and in less than 2 weeks he changed his mind and now its sell. ReplyMON' Back for Monsanto - Stop Trading! (6/5/08) [view article]

Even though trucks do move America, many people are trying to find ways around transportation. Along with the rising price of fuels and many companies trying to use other venues for shipment, trucking is starting to get hit really hard especially on their costs. Replye

Joan, you are recomending YRCW? it's obvious that you do notunderstand trucking or Bill Zollars Reply
YRC Worldwide Keeps Truckin' - Cramer's Lightning Round (6/18/08) [view article]
Why is Cramer recommending YRC when the price of diesel is skyrocketing? I think long haul trucking is dead in the water. It won't be long until most stuff is going to be shipped on trains, not trucks. Cramer is probably thinking that the price of oil is a bubble and is going to burst any minute. This kind of permabull crap will get investors in a lot of trouble. ReplyIndian ADRs 2007 Review: Telecom, Banks Pace Gains [view article]
Is there any way to invest in India's Reliance Industries? Doesn't seem to have any ADR for that one. Would be good to get a piece of Reliance. Any suggestions will help. ReplyMON' Back for Monsanto - Stop Trading! (6/5/08) [view article]

I know of villagers who have become instant millionaires and brokers who have become builders. I think cycles occur, and if you are present in a cycle at the right time, you ride the crest. Nonetheless, I see in Mangalore, gulf-based Indians, are starting to pick apartments for Rs 3000 per sq ft, in a place, where electricity is hard to come by. These were rates that existed in 2005 in Mumbai suburbs. I have been given a quote of 3900 psf in a place like Bajpe, with stories of 4 -lane highways and new airport etc. Well, Im not saying these things dont work. they do, but entering at the top of any cycle doesnt. Today, we are at the top! ReplyThe "No Amount of Bad News Can Bring This Market Down" Trades [view article]
Mark:MTL has not given any earning reports to date for review. Little concerned for those who are entering now awaiting a pullback. Reply

Hi Mark,Perhaps, it may appear as an ambitious target. In contrary and in reality, it’s weighing out risks, availability of funds, offsetting the companies that are still down month after month. Many of us are waiting for a recovery of some these stocks; rather than, taking a steep loss. It’s a matter of believing :).
Yes, I know your longstanding position and recall the very nice article written last November which included MTL. Last Nov., I was new to the field and calculating with formularies the valuation numbers seemed expensive. If it’s possible for a pullback to $70-80s then my ambitious side would be thrilled to buy.
Until then, the low $130s, maybe a real start…thanks.

sunrises, that would be an ambitious target. If there is a belief the dollar will rally huge, than anything is possible, but I'd be looking at the 50 day average in low $130s as a solid first time entry point. I've held this name a long time so I keep a core position and then trade around it, so my focus might be different than someone buying it the first time.
I don't think it's expensive at all based on its mix of business but maybe some others do. Reply
