Talk of China 'Overheating' Continues to Be Wrong [view article]
Well. Referring China from USA side, she is a foreign country, therefore any investment from China to USA shall be considered as QFII by USA side. ReplyTalk of China 'Overheating' Continues to Be Wrong [view article]

I guess that the author probably meant QDII (Qualified Domestic Institutional Investors) instead of QFII because he further mentioned $30B cash outflow from China. QFII refers to invest in China market by foreign investors while QDII quota is the amount that Chinese (domestic) institutional investors are allowed to invest in overseas' markets. Does anyone know is there is ETF trading all these Chinese ADRs, long or short? Sort of like FXI and FXP but for the Chinese ADRs listed here in N.A. Or is someone planning such an offering soon?Reply

Have China Stocks Already Burst? [view article]
big macro-wise, I agree. i have had one Brazilian stock throughout. I expect to own china again in the next six months or so, certainly withing a year. Ideally i would like to see our cycle end and buy when visibility for the next cycle starting shows itself. ReplyHave China Stocks Already Burst? [view article]
I believe your decision was rational considering conventianal wisdom. However in my opinion times have changed, there is a strong capital flow towards Asia/South America and it will remain so for several years. ReplyIt's More than Just Baidu: 51 Other Ways to Invest in China [view article]

More interesting trivia (which ain't so trivial): China’s population has been growing by some 10 million people annually, and now comprises 22 percent of the world total. Yet the country is home to only 7 percent of all arable land, creating a rising food security concern, according to Xinhua News Agency.Reply

You're right; the last full sentence (not the single-word sentence), is sloppy. It doesn't quite tell you what it's supposed to mean. Maybe the author is in a rush to go out for trick and treat. ReplyTwo Points on the China Bubble [view article]
That last sentence doesn't work for me. It's supposedly the answer to prevent a train wreck. Yet what exactly does Paul mean "... is to buy things. Now" Buy what? Other companies? Land? Commodoties? Buildings? Expansion? Other stocks? Merge? Doesn't that just make things worse? ReplyTwo Points on the China Bubble [view article]
