Citi Downgrades, Cuts Targets on Slew of Chip Makers [view article]
FOR GOD'S SAKE.... WHY NOT JUST BUY SOMETHING THAT IS STILL GROWING AND GUIDED HIGHER REVENUE AND PROFIT MARGIN.

The early cisco of stem cell/regenerative medicine ... Thermogenesis(KOOL).

Sound financial, patented products, almost no competition and the stock is dirt cheap.... find me a better one if you can.

No Relationship To Reality - Cramer's Mad Money (9/10/08) [view article]
Sometimes Cramer adds value with his perspective and information but you can't put much weight on his buys & sells because he comments on every stock anyone asks about. When someone like Ken Hebner, Warren Buffett or Jim Rogers makes a strong buy or sell recommendation you can put a lot of weight into it because they are extreamly selective.

Putting the words "GM" and "No Relationship to Reality" in the same sentence is EXACTLY on target.

They would seemingly rather count on the Congress for a bailout instead of building the highly fuel efficient gasoline and natural gas fueled vehicles they build elsewhere here.

Is it any wonder we have an energy crisis with the corporate and political leadership we have in America? As Cramer would say, "They DO Nothing!"

Semiconductors Are Finding Big Growth Overseas [view article]
AS mentioned PLDs will replace the ASICs. But it is not seen that big semi industry are moving towards it , e.g. Intel or TI still only focuses only on ASICs. If replacement of PLDs with ASICs is going to happen in near future should not the big giants in ASICs should think about PLDs developments.
Also in term to their stock value , this replacement will definitely effect their stock prices.

The earnings briefs are interesting. It would save us all a scratch pad if you ended each such listing with a summary (day and quarter to date) of beat / match / miss. Thanks, though, for this most interesting listing. Reply

Apple: Justice Case Closed, iPhone Cracked Open [view article]
not condoning the practices that are illegal...however, i'm happy that the SEC dropped the case. Apple does so much right and responsibly...esp. in the face of recent financial institution exposures!! and i do think that, though style, class, innovation and the integrity of service ARE Jobs forte... when he first returned to Apple, i doubt he really was that savvy about complicated financial issues...even Jobs doesn't know everything. and since i'm long APPL, i'm happy this morning. This is a classic. Apple knew how to shmooze the SEC, and i mean it as the biggest compliment!
First they said - it never happened.
Then they said - well, if it did happen, we are sorry.
Then they said - If we're sorry and it isn't enough, we'll do what has to be domne to rectify.
Look at Koby Alexander from Comverse... that idiot went egotistic on the SEC and is now hiding in Nigeria, waiting to be extradited to the FBI and do serious time.
it's all about style - and Apple has tons of it.
