Polish authorities are investigating Stryker (SYK -0.7%) over allegations that employees of the U.S. company offered bribes to hospital bosses from 2003-2006 to win orders worth hundreds of thousands of zlotys. The probe has ensnared around 100 people and 51 hospitals. Given American anti-bribery laws, a U.S. investigation may not be far behind.
