Tuesday, April 30, 11:22 AM More on Tenet Healthcare's (THC +2.2%) Q1: Shares trade higher after the company posts a narrow EPS beat. Excluding a restructuring, impairments, and costs related to acquisitions, the company managed to double its earnings thanks to "rapid" cost adjustments, CEO Trevor Fetter said, adding that the firm is witnessing a "soft volume environment." Friday, March 8, 2:13 PM Tenet (THC +3.3%) shares move up today after CRT Capital boosts its rating to Buy and sets a $51 target. The firm cites a number of positive catalysts, including it's strong quarterly performance recently, improved free-cash flow and expected benefits from the health-care overhaul, whose positive impact hasn't even been felt yet. The firm says that despite the run we've already seen in hospital stocks, there's still room for THC. The company has solid free cash flow and its refinancing efforts will only add more that down the road.
