Argentine energy pipeline giant Tenaris (TS -0.1%) announces plans to build a $1.5B manufacturing facility on the Texas Gulf coast, which will feature a seamless pipe mill, heat treatment and premium threading facilities and is expected to eventually produce 600K tons of pipe annually.

Tenaris (TS -1.2%) announces a $1.5B investment plan to expand its U.S. operations, including the installation of a state-of-the-art seamless pipe mill, heat treatment and premium threading facilities. The new mill, expected to begin operations in 2016, will have an annual production capacity of 650K tons of high quality seamless pipe.
