Monday, April 1, 3:53 PM Anglo American (AAUKY.PK, AAUKF.PK) says its $8.8B Minas Rio project in Brazil is 60% complete, and is in talks with Eike Batista's LLX Logistica to allow the billionaire to open their jointly owned port terminal to other investments. Anglo also says it is continuing talks with Ternium (TX) for an iron-ore supply contract from Minas-Rio, after saying last year an agreement would be signed by June 2012. Comment! Friday, March 15, 10:15 AM Italian-Argentine steelmaker Ternium (TX) may make a firm bid for ThyssenKrupp's (TYEKF.PK) money-losing mill in Brazil, but its current proposal isn't very attractive, local reports say.
