Goldman Cuts Estimates, Targets for Slew of Tech Stocks [view article]
Goldman sucks. Whatever they say, do the opposite. They are crooks. That being said, they say tech stocks are weak. I say buy all you can. Don't let them BS you and steal your shares. Tech is the best play right now through March!!!! ReplyGoldman Cuts Estimates, Targets for Slew of Tech Stocks [view article]
Is there somewhere we can see these "cut" estimates? Downgrading someone like NVDA is just silly. The company is selling at a ridiculously cheap P/E and they are not indicating any slowdowns. ReplySemiconductors Prepared to Knock Your SOX Off [view article]
Timely analysis. Let's hope the breakout continues.NVDA and SNDK should be leading the way. Reply
Next: Cell Phone Video Projectors [view article]
Necro Negro will be seen. I'll be a video producer. In fact, part of my business plan was to publish videos on cell phones. The technology isn't quite there yet. I got pretty far despite, though. I can do a video production at zero cost and scale it out at the cost of equipment. Cell phone video is still a thing of the future. Until you can open up your cell phone web browser and watch a porn in your hand, the market is not mature yet. 2 months ago I estimated 6 months. So that's February 2008. Let's see how close I was for the reality of video downloaded and viewed real-time by cell phone over the world wide web. ReplyNext: Cell Phone Video Projectors [view article]
I am amazed because I beleieve that MVIS microvision who is collaborating with,I think, Samsung has all the patents on this technology. Replyion
Nokia Arms The Competition Against Qualcomm [view article]
How do you think this will effect Nokia's ASP and margins on low end devices which can be in the low single digits and up to 40% on high end devices. ReplyTrent

Not many stocks rising last week... Yesterday's end of day rally was a wild one, but the volume came in selling at the close. Replyr
The Week Ahead: Earnings Galore [view article]
Out of many voices comes one helluva story and no voice is insignificant. Remember that little butterfly in the Amazon helping cause the storms in Kansas? We're all part of the grand scheme of things to one extent or another.Unfortunately the earnings were up but the stock went down...go figure. Reply

The Week Ahead: Earnings Galore [view article]
Yep. Hopefully the one extra voice added to the discussion. If not, I guess worst case is my incremental hot air was insignificant in the scheme of things. Replyr

Yet, you did discuss the earning report afterall, didn't you? I guess it was just to juicy of a story, huh? ReplyCash-Rich Companies: Watch Out for the Siren’s Song [view article]
Applying this metric across the board is a little weird. You need much better knowledge of these businesses to make this kind of judgement.Beware the statisticians... Reply

In part the stocks I am watching are based on whether they are on my watch list or have discussed them in the past. As you say, Apple is discussed to death and the incremental value of my own contribution would probably be minimal. While some will surely disagree, I feel I can add more value to the discussion of the others listed. Replyr

Although I am sick to death of hearing about AAPLs iPhone, it has had a huge impact on the NASDAQ in recent weeks, helping it keep its head above the subprime waters. Suppliers to iPhone production have also benefited from its successful launch. I am curious as to why you would not monitor Apple's earnings report Wednesday after hours? A bad report (although very unlikely) would have a profound effect on the stock and possibly others in the NASDAQ. XRX, WDC. and some of the others you mentioned are mere sideshows in comparison.
