Not All Financials Are Poison [view article]
nyka,A bit harsh....actually, the author's to be commended for pointing out there ARE some/a few things worth looking at in the sector, AND he had the stones to be explicit vis a vis personal holdings.
A good piece, Dave. I pay attention to your "stuff".

This fails to pass the "Who cares?" test. ReplyNot All Financials Are Poison [view article]
Historically, it's been hard for insurers to turn a profit when reserves can't be invested profitably. Why should we expect them to be profitable when there's no other investment that is?Casualty risks from weather events are at an all-time high.
I don't see much future here, but good luck to you. Reply

Is this a buy or a sell? ReplyMy Recession-Proof ETF [view article]
This is such a short sighted article. A friend of mine showed me his portfolio of stock picks last week. He has a return of 250%+ since last October given the current bad market situation. Should he write a article showing off and create ETF of his own? Your article is just childish and laughable. ReplyMy Recession-Proof ETF [view article]
What kind of egomainia is this. The article implies that an ETF already exists "but my fund has produced a gain of 11% over the last 52 weeks versus a loss of about 6% for the S&P 500 ETF."Reply

This is a misleading article you should not be writing it. Some people right now are having problems with the market and need some help. Not some wish list of a trial balloon ETF to see if people are going to buy it so you can make a ton of money. ReplyMy Recession-Proof ETF [view article]
I am still in the process of obtaining a partner to bring this ETF and my other proposals to the market as the process requires a lot of money and regulatory filings with the SEC. ReplyMy Recession-Proof ETF [view article]
what's the name of the fund ? ReplyMy Recession-Proof ETF [view article]
I'm amazed you didn't mention Coca-Cola (KO) and McDonald's (MCD). Or maybe you did when you said "mega-cap". Reply
