The United States must develop a sensible, difficult for politicians, program which co-ordinates fossil fuels, petroleum and natural gas into a doable sensible energy policy. If for no other reason than our negative balance of payments, domestic drilling and using natural gas to power our vehicles is a must.In my mind the government is more cioncerned about the loss of fuel taxes than the effect on the environment. What about Uranium Participation Corp (U.TO), and ETF? ReplyUranium Investing: The Chinese Are Coming [view article]
Are there regulations against taking nuclear company from the US. hands? I know that USEC is regulated by department of energy (DOE) and is leasing DOE land. I would say nuclear companies are not going to pop, they are going rise on good news. It is not as easy as author writes to take over such company as Cameco. This is volatile industry and I would invest with caution. Prices could go down as well. Currently there is enough supply. Most of these companies struggle with energy costs. Don't gamble and get suckered to invest based on this article! ReplyUranium Investing: The Chinese Are Coming [view article]
It appears a lot of foreigners are going to own a lot of America in the next few years. The great melting pot continues, we shall see of course how much of our Republic survives vs. how our empire is bought off into chunks and sold and how politics looks like someday soon. Already, I abhor this new Socialist society. Some States are free, others are fascist. I no longer live in New Hampshire, the 'live free or die' State as the courts and police have become tax collectors. I prefer my Socialism handed to me upfront to embitter my mouth rather then stealth, thank you very much. ReplyUranium Investing: The Chinese Are Coming [view article]
Another company to look at is URRE. It had a high of 14.99 and has fallen to 5.60 and is slowly coming back. As of today, 44 it has come back to 6.81. This stock has the potential of making a lot of money for a lot of people. Keep an eye on it, but don't wait too long. ReplyUranium Investing: The Chinese Are Coming [view article]

Perhaps it would be more "protective" to invest in the industry via ETFs such as NLR or the new PKN. Advice gratefully accepted. ReplyUranium Investing: The Chinese Are Coming [view article]

many different thoughts about the future of nuke power - when you think of all the alternatives there is only one answer for base load electricity in the future - yet we are stuck with our false impressions of the dangers of nuke plants - some day we will get smart - HOPEFULLY !!!!!! Reply
