ABP synbol has been changed to AXAS. I tried changing the symbol, but it doesn't recognize the new symbol. I enjoy reading Alpha Stock Alerts. Thank you. Reply

This article is very good for investors. Looks as if we should be in utilities, health care, and food stocks. Give us more like this one. Reply

Energy Stocks Down 5 Days in a Row [view article]
Like I said before, All stocks are taking their respective lumps but Oil stocks can be sold repetitively because they rebound after each round of selling. All of the ravaged Financials are raising money and getting ready for the "mark to Market" fiasco that will be the Hallmark of 2008. Reply

You can achieve much the same thing far more simply by investing in three or four asset classes that are minimally correlated with each other, such as a portfolio comprising US small cap, emerging markets, commodities, and TIPS. Reply

Weekly Street Sentiment: It’s Hard to Keep a Good Industry Down [view article]
Regarding energy, I've gotten the impression that the IEA is NOT the most reliable source of forward looking production/demand information. Secondly, unless somebody can GUARANTEE things like a benign hurricane season in the Gulf, or that a group of radical Muslims won't decide that next Monday would be a GREAT day to return to Allah, via an attack on a Saudi oil installation, energy will feature a prominent role in my portfolio, despite the occasional spell of slightly weak fundementals.
