General Discussion on ZVUE
Is this a buy or a sell? ReplyHandheld Entertainment Not Getting the Credit it Deserves [view article]
Thanks for the update. I have invested long (and large)in ZVUE because I see its mainstream appeal. Not everybody shops at Best Buy - although they are a new ZVUE advertiser so that may change - and there is a tremendous market out there among non-geek consumers. By the way SanDisk does have a 4 Gb card, and an 8 Gb card, so.... it's only a matter of time. The new administrative changes are solid and serious. Hang on. This stock will be worth $5 by June and then the sky is the limit. Thanks

I believe this article was way late in providing investors this relevant information. With all the bashing that zvue has encountered from the street writers this past year I wonder why the sudden interest in reviewing it's future now? I am left only to assume that the street has wisened up and that zvue's day of reckoning is now upon us. IMO we will quickly see pps rise and investors flocking as zvue certainly makes itself attractive for a buyout based on it's content alone. ReplyHorowitz

I am sorry to respectfully disagree with some of this published info by Ant & Sons. The fact is that while they are getting away from the hardware as has been said, their hardware is atrocious. In fact, in a day that we are looking to move past the 100 GIGABYTE area for video and mp3 portable devices, this company has hardware with removable storage starting at 64MEGABYTES.Unfortunately, the device they have is a real problem in that unless companies like Micron Tech or SanDisk come up with a card larger than 4 GB for a reasonable price, users will never opt for a ZVUE device (see www.zvue.com/players/p... ) $95 for 64 MB device!!!!! HUH?
Also, while there has been some speculation about cross ownership with some of the Google boys, it is unclear why this company is competing in both the hardware and online arena. Pick one and do it well. If you want to compete with Apple for the MP3 market, fine, just make a product that is better at a comparable price. If you want to compete in the content area, make a better product at a comparable price. ZVUE has not achieved either, that is why they have not received a better reception by the investment community
I say it is a good trading stock, not a position for a buy and hold portfolio.

HandHeld Adopts Google-Like Acquisition Model [view article]
You have to be kidding me. This is the biggest fraud going. The company did a PIPE at the beginning of 2006. Coincidentally, right around the time that the PIPE shares are freely tradable, the company makes a BS announcement that its pure-junk devices are available at Wal-Mart....but, guess what....they were not to be found in stock. Now walmart.com lists the product, but it is always out-of-stock…same with Amazon.com....www.walmart.com/catalo...
No products = no sales. The company is rapidly running out of cash...as of last Q, the company had $3.9M in cash and has burned an average of $2.7M per Q for the last 3 quarters. Buying crappy websites and flaunting the name of the brother of Larry page does not make a company. Anyone remember Billy Beer?
This piece of junk is a zero. Reply
