    Seems to me the key issue is getting all blogs/sites in the niche to commit. That's what Mike Arrington suggested, but others are concerned with this approach, perhaps because the big bloggers will have better listings that effectively compete alongside theirs.

    The big winners in this networked scenario would be the employers -- they only have to buy space on one site, and automatically are placed on the others. Whereas if things stay fragmented, you have to buy on Om's site AND Mike's site.

    Maybe the reticent bloggers' worries would be lessened if they received some compensation for a conversion that happened through their site, though it was someone else's listing.
