    • Stone Fox Capital: might explain the weakness this afternoon.

    • Native Texan: Nobody wants to get in front of it, fine; I'll bet they buy the f'ing dip that it'll surely cause and then the downtrend reverses.

    • Demi9OD: No France downgrade this weekend. The markets have been behaving internally this week, well, as much as they can in market 2.0...

    • Demi9OD: And not showing the absolute weirdness they were before the CB intervention. Instead, I think we'll see an EU bank or two nationalized...

    • Demi9OD: this weekend, which will cause a big gap up Monday and a race to 1300 by Friday 12/23. You heard it here first.

    • blablah: so u guys think market will go up due to the downgrade?
      12/15/11
    • Demi9OD: Bla: NT and Chines do. I don't exactly follow why.

    • DollaBills: I think the ratings agencies are being very careful not to be the catalyst to a major drop. Other wise they would have downgraded by now

    • Native Texan: My take is based on what I'm hearing from the pundits. You see, Banksters want 1180, a downgrade will push us there & then they'll buy it up

    • TonyNed: Bank failures will give u a gap up? Crazy talk.
      12/15/11
    • Native Texan: Tony, crazy I know but it happened the last time ----

    • Eric Stalee: Demi - if that happens the face-ripper I've been waiting for will finally execute. About damn time it happened if it does...

    • Demi9OD: I'll probably make the gamble if we close down tomorrow and go long for the weekend.
      12/15/11
    • Demi9OD: Especially if everyone else is buying puts and shorting lol!
      12/15/11
    • Native Texan: You've to to look at downside risk. Worst case scenario, we bounce at 1198, then 1180, etc. What's greater, up or down potential?
      12/15/11
    • Eric Stalee: Call volume was huge today actually...XLU and XLP especially. http://bit.ly/ryDOqM

    • Eric Stalee: Well if you want to say that NT, downside risk is greater IMO. Italy defaults or some shit could come any day LOL. But I'm betting against
      12/15/11
    • Demi9OD: That is a lot of calls, perfect for a long squeeze below 1200 tomorrow.
      12/15/11
    • Eric Stalee: and then for everyone to turn bearish, buy a ton of puts and get short squeezed. :)

    • humahuaca: you think market rallies on bank nationalization? hmmmmm. Could be. You think it lasts though? I don't.
      12/15/11
    • Eric Stalee: Of course it won't last. Who cares if it lasts. You sell when it rallies, and then buy shorts. :)
