I'm actively retired but a full time investor with a thirst for new ideas. Generally follow conservative strategies with growth and principal conservation top priorities. During 2011, I added a significant number of high dividend stocks to the IRA portion of my portfolio which has worked out beautifully so far. I tend to be seriously loss adverse and will often sell investments when they turn down even if I think the long term prospects are good. Being an old man, one can't help having the feeling that time is not on your side. Nevertheless, this is an investment tendency that I believe I need to improve.
