Perkins Cove: Mine niether (Ameritrade starts trading @ 8:00, but shows prices starting @7:00) I understand Scottrade allows trades @7:00. Good 2nd brokr?
Rubenov: There's no such thing as a short squeeze in UVXY or any other VIX-related product. They follow a complicated VIX options futures formula.

Perkins Cove: Agreed. The problem is your broker may not have shares to short. Also, if you do have shares short, you may not be able to also play long...

Perkins Cove: ...UVXY with the same broker. (hedging). A solution would be a second broker, or playing XIV (inverse), possibly x2 to match UVXY's leverage
