Whether people accept it or not, everyone has become a trader. An investment requires measurable risk, however those days are now gone. All asset classes are now subject to possible risks that by far occlude any certainty. Even the mere preservation of capital requires bold assumptions on inflation, deflation, interest rates, exchange rates, and, dare I say, timeframe. Hello probable risk. Hello best guess. The purpose of trading is to profit from the difference of what an asset is and what it should be. The real challenge is not determining what it should be, the real challenge is in making a profit. Managing the exuberance, fear, and momentum is the art that makes all of the difference. I am a personal trader who loves researching the markets and would do it for free.
