  • Volatile Medical Marijuana (MJNA.PK -20.4%) falls to $0.23 on the pink sheets after SA authors Ashraf Eassa and Panoplos offer bearish takes. Panoplos notes that while MJNA recently valued an inventory sale/licensing deal with CannaVEST (FCLS.OB) at $35M, based on an assigned value of $5 for the CannaVEST shares issued to MJNA, the actual value of the shares could be much lower. Especially since CannaVEST recently disclosed it has "no customers," and that its sole assets consist of the items purchased in its deal with MJNA. MJNA is no stranger to double-digit swings. [View news story]
They can negative talk about the stock all they want. The fact is that the medical marijuana industry is growing and new states are also looking at new tax revenues. Beside, this is really what it's all about.

States are having problems coming up with money to pay for new road, new schools, new hospitals, new, new, new...blah,blah,blah. And the US government is not helping, especially in Arizona . So states have to figure out new ways to get tax dollars.

Short the stock all you want. The fact is that the industry is a multi-billion industry and it not going away any time soon. So dump the stock so I can buy more.

DD730 I think you truly under estimated Sprints ability to do a so called...catch up!

First, Sprint doesn't even have to buy Clearwire to catch up. They own 50% which is still good enough to make a dent. Here is a small excerpt from a post in "Light Reading" by Dan Jones of the earning call...

"Clearwire has been testing Long Term Evolution Time Division Duplex (LTE TDD) -- also called TD-LTE -- in Phoenix for more than a year." CEO Erik Prusch said on the company's earnings call Tuesday that the operator now has more than 800 of the LTE TDD sites ready to be connected to Sprint's core network.

Clearwire is planning to have 2,000 sites up by June 2013 and 5,000 sites by the end of the year. The full buildout calls for 8,000 of the faster 4G sites to be deployed.

Clearwire has also been testing 2.5GHz TD LTE devices at the test site in Phoenix with China Mobile Ltd. The Chinese giant has made no secret of its ambition to make TD LTE a global 4G standard with roaming in the 2.3GHz to 2.7GHz range at its core.

The site numbers suggest a more focused network than Clearwire's current WiMAX offering. CTO Saw said that Clearwire has about 15,000 cell sites up and running now.

Why? Because the other networks (AT&T, Verizon...etc) networks have download speeds about 28 mbps and Sprint's about to get a new state-of-the-art TDD-LTE network from Clearwire with download speeds of 150+mbps (China mobile tested speed record with their TDD-LTE)

This is the reason why Dish was interested in Clearwire...for those quick download speeds. So, let me ask you this question? Where is the market trend going? Any ideas? No! Here, let me help....videos! NOT TEXT!!!!!!

If Verizon's stock price is around $45.00 a share and if you bought Sprint shares today at $5.81....where will those total number of investment shares be at when Sprint's stocks at $40 a share?

Oh, you don't think it will get there? What Verizon has the only market on $45 a shares with their shinny 28 mbps network?

Where do you think the Sprint stock price is going to go with a 150+ mbps download speed network? Yea...don't say I didn't warn you!

Well, Mr. DD730...I think not! Everybodies download speed is 28 mbps and once Sprint own the rest of Clearwire 100+ mbps download speed, this will get people to notice Sprint do to the fast download speeds. The trend is video...not text.

In two to three years this $5.80 stock is going to be $25, $35, $45 or $55 a share. Why not! The others are around $35 to $40. So if you but a $5.80 share now, what will your portfolio look like when it's $45.00 a share?

Alan, The problem with this article is that he mentions all sorts of people within thew company, but where are the atcual facts of the president of the company Tripp Kiber?

He has been the spokesperson for this company for a long time. It is due to his efforts that the company is growing and the whole industries foundation is on this company.

Any right wing bible thumper can write about the world is coming to an end and everyone wants to jump off the cliff with him. Why would 60 minutes, a very reputable show to a documentary on them? Don't you think they would have done a little investigating before they go and put their 60 minute name on the line?

Have the author show us the proof that Tripp is bad! Hell I have a sister that's a Crack Whore, but that doesn't make the whole family bad.

Can sussessful companies have shady people working for them? If I hire my sister to run my web site, does this mean my business is bad?

Nope. right now it's bring in too many Tax dollars for the State and the Fed's and a lot of state voters have passed the use of medical marijuana within their states and more states are on the votes within the next couple of month.

My advice is to spend about $500 in a stock and just leave it there. Well $500 that you don't mind losing. And once the fed's give the go ahead, it will explode for you...or not. Don't get in at $0.06 a share, get in when it $5.00 a share.

Easy there David. Everyone know that MJNA is off the pink. It's not that big of a deal. What's important is understanding the industry. here is a video that came out several days ago from Montana PBS.
    http://bit.ly/TSyELq

But lets look at the companies that have potential.

1.) MJNA: in reality if you want to invest in Dixie Elixirs (http://dixieelixirs.com), you have to buy MJNA. http://cbsn.ws/142CjsY

2.) MWIP: In the 60 mins special that you just watched, talked about the main problem with the industry was that banks don't want to deal with despensaries because of the federal laws...too big of a risk for banks. But MWIP is a credit card portal that allows dispensaries to collect payment via credit cards from their customers. MWIP is the key to the industry's growth. One of the things I like with MWIP is that they are HIPAA compliant and they do SEC reporting. HIPAA govern and controls all of the regulation on medical record keeping. HIPAA can shut you down faster then you can say...WTF! and MWIP is in full compliance.

3.) CBIS: is a company that is an actual Pharmaceutical company that actually develops drug from hemp. http://bit.ly/TSyCDg

4.) RFMK: Is a company that manufactures a cigarette vaporizer in which you can place hemp oil and get the full effect to the THC with no smell and no smoke...great product.
    http://bit.ly/VI8nfh

5.) HEMP: This company is really 4 companies in one. One of their most interesting companies out of the four is called http://bit.ly/PnuMj3 If you want to stay on top of the industry...HEMP is the one place to go. HEMP also deals with bring forth the awareness of Industrial Hemp. http://www.hemp.com

6.) COIN: This Company manufactures growing containers that are state-of-the-art with water, lighting, air...etc.

7.) ERBB: This is a turn key operations company that provide you with everything including all of the license to have your own despensary. Plus, they can set you up with a turn key growing business and help you set up your growing business with a dispensary to sell your product....every important company to have with your portfolio. http://bit.ly/VI8pnx

8.) MDBX: This company makes vending machine that dispense product to the customer. The only draw back for me is that the stock is a little high for me. I like penny stock because I get more bang for my buck. http://bit.ly/TSyCDj

This is a new industry that is growing and can't be stopped now. Too many states have Okayed and have passed the use of medical marijuana, with more states passing the use this May.

  • Sprint Is Making Significant Strides In Its Turnaround [View article]
Nope....don't worry there. The initial FCC docket released last year from DISH, notified that FCC that they were looking at building their own LTE network and Sprints name was all over the docket.

Plus, last week, DISH said to Sprint that they would not step in the may of the Clearwire deal. But it was Clearwire that came out with it last Friday that they were still interested in the deal with DISH...yea, hello.

They had to say something positive after they had just submitted an SEC filing saying that they were going private....kept the investor from heading to the hills.

IMHO...the sale is a done deal. This means that DISH, Google, China Mobile and Carlos Slim will now have to deal with Sprint and that's not such a bad deal...right?

  • Sprint Is Making Significant Strides In Its Turnaround [View article]
Last year when Sprint was investing in Cleariwre, everyone said it was a bad idea and that Sprint was throwing away cash into a black hole of a company.

However, I could see the writing on the wall. Clearwire's putting in an Advanced LTE that's 4 times faster (maybe more) than the current networks from the other carriers.

Sprint has has GREAT customer service because no one calls and complains about them throttling the network, think the other telecom's do. Why? Because they are using Cleariwre Wimax network, a network that every analyst complained about how it was a POS.

But you don't hear customers for Sprint complaining about it. Let me ask you this question. If all of the telecoms are promoting that they have the fastest 4G LTE network with download speeds at 28 mbps, than what would you call a network with download speeds at 150 mbps? A 5G?

If this is the case...Sprint better start promoting the shifting sand out of this network. Should sound something like this....

"Come over to our 5G network and leave the others behind!"

You have to remember that Sprint is not just doing a network vision build out on their 4G LTE network. They are also funding a Clearwire build out of an Advanced LTE network with download speeds of 150+ mbps.

Just think, they are about to get all that back when they buy the other half of Clearwire. I would say that was a great investment on their part...wouldn't you? Now who has the last laugh!
