  • Kraft Foods, H.J. Heinz Merger To Drive Significant Potential Synergy And Dividend Growth Opportunities [View article]
thanks scapaflow. I see this statement: "Kraft Heinz plans to keep Kraft’s current dividend per share once the transaction closes. Kraft has no plans to change its dividend before the deal closes."

  • Kraft Foods, H.J. Heinz Merger To Drive Significant Potential Synergy And Dividend Growth Opportunities [View article]
I need help with knowledgeable person here: Any opinion on Kraft deal? I am an owner of Kraft stocks which was giving me $1000 dividend a year. After today’s deal my stock is up like 60% from my purchase. Current Kraft share holder will own 49% of combine company with Heinz and receive $16.5 cash dividend. But I don’t know if new company will issue dividend and how it will impact my dividend situation?

  • BP: Recent Price Drop Makes It Hard To Resist [View article]
I also think BP may drop to $27 set low in 2010 if price of oil continue to drop with bad head lines.

  • BP: Recent Price Drop Makes It Hard To Resist [View article]
Sure BP is great value with lot of risk. I bought them after oil spill in low mid 30's. I also added very little on Friday. But with oil spill damages and law suits, and falling oil price, you have to be thinking of risk of dividend cut.

So I wouldn't go crazy on adding it. Instate I am more confident on adding more and more CVX without any fear in intermediate to long term.

Yeah I have them too. XOM, CVX and BP, along with small positions in other typical energy stocks. I am kind of hesitate to call any energy sector holding a core due to its volatile nature except may be XOM.

  • Update: The FBI Is Looking Into American Realty Capital Properties [View article]
I hope they don't cut the dividend say by 30 to 50% because if they do then this stock will drop under $5.

If they keep the dividend same then there is still risk for further selling until end of the year and a week into 2015.

  • Lesson Learned: I Was The Sucker [View article]
Market gave lot of warnings on ARCP throughout the year, but people still kept hope may be due to it's high yield.

CEO buying and selling assets, management changes, buying red lobster REITs, selling Cole. It so crazy that I felt like someone is trading properties like a day trader trading stocks.

I was also greedy and attracted for its yield but sold it few weeks back because lack of capital and I wanted to buy XOM under $90 very badly.

  • Disaster Strikes For American Realty Capital Properties [View article]
When you make so many transactions in so little time then mistakes bound to happen.

I was never a fan of ARCP. I had 250 shares which I sold two weeks ago because of short in capital and I wanted to buy XOM at under $90.

I didn't know this was coming but I want to hold 100% solid company and I was saved from today's disaster.

  • Is There Value In Coca-Cola And IBM After Big Respective Drops? [View article]
IBM is not a tech company. It is software and service company and moving more and more toward IT service provider.

Long IBM. My top ten position.

WB is a financial guy. He understand floating share, profit margin, and cashflow that IBM generate. He is not stupid to build IBM as his top 3 position. I won't be surprised if he is buying IBM again and might make his #2 position.

IBM is fine. Don't think of it as tech company. I would think of it as service company.

BAX is on my watch list to add.

I was busy last week buying CVX, XOM, RDS.B, BP, COP, EPD, KMI (Energy was getting bargain last week, I had to buy more of what market give.)

I also purchased KRFT, UL, K, GIS, IBM, AFL, DEO.

BAX is next to add more. May be next week.
