VERY short-sighted! Get rid of the rights of way?! There are lot's of things one can do with the rights-of- way BNI owns....limited only by one's imagination.
Buffet doesn't time the market; he simply "times companies"...i.e. he waits for selected good companies to go on sale. It just so happens that this occurs more in down markets than bad. When good companies go on sale in great markets, he buys too.

Suffice it to say that by your standards of who can talk about stocks on TV without being unethical, CNBC would be deserted. Anyone watching Warren on CNBC who didn't know about the BRK/GE deal shouldn't be investing in stocks!
