Bush's New Drilling Proposal: Fixing a Hole

"...New drilling might help, but not for at least ten years; and by then, demand will likely have overtaken supply by an even wider margin...."

What an amazing bit of logic- because something can't help short term, do nothing!! That is the exact same logic used 10 years ago that helped get us right where we are today. Amazingly short-sighted...and now we are paying for those decades of always doing nothing, because it won't help "right now". Seriously stupid policy, IMHO.
