Its very strange to me about NS999. They have publicly mentioned it for 2 years, and published a paper on it last fall. I strongly believe that the original site of the ASME conference last fall was to show off the NS999 otherwise why the hell would you have a conference in Altoona. (no offense to anyone from Altoona).

I guess what my friends as CSX always said about NS is right. NS = No Service, Not on-Schedule, etc...

    Its not as bad as:
ACELA - Acela Customers Expect Late Arrival
DELTA - Don't Expect you Luggage To Arrive
DELTA - Don't Expect to Leave The Airport (or Atlanta)

(if this doesn't get a response from Valley, I don't know what will)

Isn't this the presentation currently on the AxionPower.com page under investors?

They had a slightly different version out there for a few days in early July.

Technically the agreement with East Penn for the tolling contract is still ongoing. Just at what appears to be a lower level.

I'd assume that some of the system integrators have probably done some basic level of testing on lead acid vs the PbC and Li that DDG should be able to get his hands on.

DDG should be able to call some of the guys TG has worked with and I'll bet he can get something pretty quick.

Hopefully those days are soon. Getting reliability data I presume will be important to some of these guys so I hope you can focus on your stuff and not others.

    John-

Thanks for this. The entire thing is an interesting read. For many of us its important to remember how many competitors and competing ideas are out there shouting for attention.

So lets see if we got the upcoming presentations schedules correct:

    This week (9-12 Sept) - ELBC - M Romero and J Schindle
    Next week (16-18 Sept) - w/ePower - M Romero
30 Sep- 2 Oct - Energy Storage North America (San Fran) - Vani
Nov 20 - Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition.

I'm surprised to see Vani at the Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition. Last year I believe Axion was there with ePower and the audience wasn't really right for the Class 8 market as the majority of attendees were municapalities. His presentation is again focused on the Class 8 market. From 30k feet I'm not sure what the appeal/fit is for Vani at this.

I'll also note that at the Energy Storage North America conference Vani is presenting on the same panel with HG Chissell from Viridity. Personally, I feel like we stick very close to Viridity which may confuse/scare off other potential partners, while Viridity is battery agnostic. Again, I feel we need our own presence.

I am aware that Mr. Rosey is a member of the EPRI (Energy Power Research Institute). If Axion is a member these should atleast publish these logo's on their website. At a minimum it provides substance and presence and comfort to people considering their projects.

I have to state that I don't understand Axion's marketing in the fixed energy storage space. Mr. Dick Rosey, Axion's Director of Marketing is non-existent here yet his background prior to Axion was with Solar. Add in our scattergun approach with Agrion in that we speak at small events but avoid their larger ones has me scratching my head.

We are also not at the Green Fleet Conference in Chicago at the end of October. I'd think this would be a good conference to be at for John & ePower but I can't speak for them.

Check to see if you got cash in exchange for those 49 shares. Otherwise call your broker.

    No.

You'd want the uplisting before if it matters at all. Which it probably doesn't. Remember the interesting part of the show is ePower. We only care because a major component of the ePower truck is Axion's PbC.

Its really a head scratcher why Axion wouldn't have been at the conference without ePower on its own.

I would prefer the listing before. I know if I was talking to someone and they asked about how real Axion was. You say we're publicly listed and on Nasdaq. That will end 99% of the conversations. You tell them you are on the OTC and its like being listed on the Bermuda exchange. People don't really believe it or trust it.

    Per the Altoona Facebook page

There is a pic of a grey loco with this caption.

We have a correction to make: NS 799, the CNG slug-tender is indeed equipped with dynamic brake. It would not fit in the usual spot in the middle of the long hood and was moved to the rear of the hood.

    Per the flicker picture:
8/2014 - NS 799 slug/tender for NS 5053, the GP38-2 being modified to run on compressed natural gas. 799 has already been tested and just needs paint. The dynamic brake was relocated to the rear.

Man, I'd love to hear the real internal story of the NS999.

I can see the same thing as RuggedDC within TDAmeritrade. However, within my Fidelity account the shares are gone no alternative symbol, etc.

I'm on hold with Fidelity now. I'm not concerned in the long term but I've had issues with them on a few other things so I want to get a response.
