    Sounds to me like Boycotting Chevron Gas would be something to think about, I don't buy their gas anyway. Maybe then, Chevron would "decide" to make some kind of deal.

    Somebody had better start producing electric cars! They are talking about 2010,
    that is a bit to late..............oh well, we can import electric cars too. Ah...
    for just one EV-1 in my driveway. oh oh, to bad GM crushed them all.

    World wide, we've to many car models and to many car mfg companies. Why must the US's 3 survive? Chrysler was saved by the Gov once before and is still not doing well. C cars are some of the worst mileage cars around, now they are saying they have electrics, maybe a bit to late. Our local dealer, jeep and C looks like it will be closing too, I haven't seen anyone looking at cars on their lot lately.........

    While GM is weeping, they should be pulling out the PLANs for the EV-1...FAST
    to save their sinking company. No bail out for them, obviously they not sharp enough to watch trends. Notice the news that they are still making the suv's
    that aren't selling...........jeez how smart can that be?

    No sympathy for US car companies. They have been watching foreign cars get better mileage for years and also watching them be built better for years. Now they are crying, to bad. GM for one KILLED the EV-1 electric, they should bring it back while awaiting their Volt, if it ever arrives. Ford sold it's Foreign 'Think' electric and now it is coming back. These guys are not the smartest, if they can't keep up with trends, to bad! I'm buying foreign &/or electric next time.

    As I was filling up with $4.379 gas last week, two guys in back of me with a pickup we chatting that their truck only gets 12 mpg. Oh well!
    People seem to have the idea that gas will eventually go down, that is a wild dream form sure. The car mfgs will soon realize that ELECTRIC is the only way out of this mess or they won't be around any more.

    After GM ground up all the EV-1's, I'm sure not trusting them on the
    volt, besides there are better ones out there now. OBVIOUSLY the
    US is kissing the oil companies so the gov isn't giving us the best
    bang for the buck. Look privately on the net.......soon there will be
    a choice, and hoping that they don't turn out like the Tucker that
    the wonderful gov of ours put out of business.
