Thanks for the reply Itinerant. Any comments on yesterdays update on Rose's reserve and production improvement updates? I still do not understand why Rose keeps going down.

    Author,

What is your input on the reserve and production guidance released by ROSE last night? I have asked this in other post and want to know what is the impact of rising natural gas prices? I believe ROSE hedge most of their production but will the current rise in prices help to make their hedges at higher prices and if so will it impact their earnings?

Thanks for a nice article and I have a big position in ROSE for my portfolio size and hoping it will give descent returns.

Author, any update on the increase in price of natural gas? I read that most of the gas production by ROSE is hedged but with the price of natural gas close to $5 will it make any difference in their earnings/valuation? Thanks for the nice article and I too have big position with ROSE and waiting for it to go up.

    Is this true for EVEP?

"Earnings are slated to increase from an estimated deficit of $0.36 per unit this year to $41.32 per unit next year. "

  • Rebuttal: 'Is A House Really A Good Investment?' [View article]
Wow great article and very simple to follow and understand. I would also like to mention the tax benefit on selling the primary residence. You don't owe any tax upto $250K for single filer and $500K for joint filer. In stock market you pay atleast 15% on long term gains. My plan is to live in the big house until my kids finish schooling and then downgrade to a smaller house and hopefully don't pay any taxes on the gains on my home. Also with current interest rate I got in for 3.5% which is going to be more savings. Again everyone's situation is different For me I believe my plan will work.
