  • Walter Energy - Larger Moves Required To Move The Dial [View article]
Thanks EA. It went up almost 50% not sure if I should dump my remaining shares and take a big loss or wait out little longer until the annual meeting to see if anything changes. If you come across any news please do post it. Thanks

Charbon - You look to be very knowledgeable with coal and iron ore. With US dollar went so strong in last couple of months do you think $116 is bad price compared to last quarter? If the dollar did not get so strong then the price may have very well went up. I am not sure how to read the current benchmark price to be good or bad compared to last quarter. Any comments will be helpful.

Could you tell how long it will take for this additional 20MM metallurgical coal to be taken out of market? I could not find any details in the earnings report. If you have any idea that will be very helpful.

    Thanks

Where did you read about india increasing steel production from 100m to 300m tons? Thats a big jump should be able to take all excess of met coal from the market.

Thanks for the reply Itinerant. Any comments on yesterdays update on Rose's reserve and production improvement updates? I still do not understand why Rose keeps going down.

    Author,

What is your input on the reserve and production guidance released by ROSE last night? I have asked this in other post and want to know what is the impact of rising natural gas prices? I believe ROSE hedge most of their production but will the current rise in prices help to make their hedges at higher prices and if so will it impact their earnings?

Thanks for a nice article and I have a big position in ROSE for my portfolio size and hoping it will give descent returns.
