    Hello John,
Thank you for your reply and sentiments. Now I know there are two of us who care.
Since you took the time to view Coach Ostro's website you may want to read a book I wrote in 1985 of a very unique first person experience. When the book sold out I realized that what good are an author's words if no one can read them. I proceeded to put the book on the web FREE for the world to read and perhaps gain some knowledge. Go to freecondobook.com
Aside from that i was able to visit the UK upon invitation from Wood Brothers furniture company about 50 years ago I believe they were in Hartfordshire. Best remembrance of the English pubs and their ambiance. Found myself wandering around a centuries old cemetery adjacent to the pub. Your right life is good and we must challenge it everyday to get the most out of it.
Stay well my friend and I look forward to meeting up with you at the next level we reach after earth

    Hello Winfield,
    Good to hear from you.
Key West is not on my bucket list.
I was there in 1958 on my honeymoon.
Walked out on my first wife after a tiff.
Biggest mistake I ever made. Should have kept walking.
Spent the next 15 years in a living Hell.
My bucket list for travel is Turks Grand Caicos islands.
    Check it out.

    Hello John,
Thank you for your "best wishes for my longevity".
To digress from the original subject for a moment.
Life is full of problems and some of us get more and some less.
Share my most recent, for whatever it is worth.
I had been corresponding with my high school football coach for over 30 years. ( 1985-2015). On February 19, 2015 we celebrated his 100th birthday.
On May 17, 2015 he passed on. He was a true American war hero having served as a Lieutenant in WWII as a 101st Airborne paratrooper. I was preparing to attend the internment ceremony at Arlington National cemetery shortly thereafter when I received word from his son that burial would not take place until August 25, 2015 because of the backlog of veterans who are passing on. To make a long story short, my beloved Coach is stored in a funeral home a few blocks from where he lived awaiting notice to have his body shipped to Arlington cemetery.
I realize to most citizens this is not a very big deal. But as I have become accustomed to in our new callous generation, "What is the big deal". I am not seeking sympathy but trying to make others aware of how people react to the lack of compassion and concern and how each day our bureaucrats ignore the priorities that made us the nation we were. Before you voice your opinion of this boring diatribe, please visit a website that was created to honor his contributions to those he mentored. Perhaps I am just an aging "yankee doodle dandy" who still believes in "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". Go to: coachharryostro.com for the rest of the story.

was enjoying my Tesla until I was targeted by U.S. Customs Border Patrol Miami, Fl
Asset Forfeiture law that most Americans never heard of allows law enforcement agencies to confiscate your property, bank accounts, real estate etc.without a warrant and hold it for ransom. If you can't afford an attorney (who can?) it is put up for auction at U.S. Treasury contract warehouses and after splitting the ill gotten proceeds with bounty hunter police departments and the Congressional butt licker political friends who were awarded these sweetheart contracts, uses what's left for government expenses you never hear about.
U.S. Customs Border Protection detains incoming shipments at the ports and then through a series of "sham" demands, channels it through the "system". I have fought for over year to free my shipments and suffered over $500,000 in lost revenue. I could be the next "Vince Foster". Google "Vince Foster' if you don't know who he was.

    AC/DC reply.
You are correct my previous Toyotas were all Camry LE sedans. Some but not all were equipped with Michelin tires. I was made aware upon replacement that Michelin offers different qualities. I am not complaining, just curious. Thanks for taking time to reply.

My sincere thanks to all who replied to my inquiry about tire wear on my Tesla.
Allow me to level the ground so that a more informed reply to my thought about selling my Tesla can be better understood.
My thoughts about buying and selling are always changing and I chose not to advise SA readers about my business problem that would influence your responses.
It is my problem and only my problem so I saw no reason to include it in my inquiry about Tesla tires.
What you will read is definitely, if not the main reason for selling my Tesla but all my assets. It all revolves around the government Forfeiture Act, the Patriot Act and a "vendetta" attack by incompetent bureaucrats.
I will be glad to send you a synopsis of the entire story on request.

    Hello Surfer,
    Thanks for your reply.
I am 82 years old and not in a hurry to go anywhere.
My only reference to tire replacement has been the 19 Toyota's I had owned before my Tesla. Tire wear on those before replacement was at approximately 20,000 miles. I reasoned that was because the factory tires were of cheap quality. It just surprised me that the Michelin tires on my Tesla would not give me a lot more mileage.
My questioning tire wear was strictly out of curiosity not a complaint.
I have been a communicator my entire life and it has given me peace of mind and a long life. My first words upon arising every day are "Just another day in paradise". Thank you again for your response.

On a recent service visit to Tesla in Davie, Fl
The tires were rotated at 10,000 miles.
I was told that I would probably have to have them replaced at 15,000 miles.
My Tesla is driven from my home to office approximately 4 miles each way on well paved city streets and occasionally on smooth state highways. The odometer reads today 10,350 miles.. It is garaged at my home at night and inside my warehouse during the day. It was delivered on Dec.21, 2012.
Also was advised that replacing the tires would cost about $1,000.
Would appreciate some comments on this situation.
Just curious, I love my Tesla.
