    A word to the wise.
Elon better take a step backwards and check the tsunami of Tesla owners complaints that are piling up and not being resolved. Referral works two ways.
Unhappy Tesla owners now speaking out about their problems with their Tesla's after 5-10,000 miles. Stop the promoting of 0 to 60 MPH ludicrous time in seconds and start delivering quality autos built to last longer.

  • Further Reasons To Believe The Model X Is Delayed [View article]
    Pessimistic not skeptical
    Dear Mr. Santos,
I was one of your early doubters. Now through experience as a Tesla owner, I have come over to your side. I am sure as time passes more naive Tesla owners will see the light. As early as 2010 I was swayed by the glowing news reports about the "car of the future". In 2012 I fell hook line and sinker and purchased the stock and S85. Making money on paper is a total illusion if the product does not materialize. The banks and brokerage houses and manipulators have made a ton of money with the stock. Tesla has a great PR team that has carried the illusion this far. Now that the cars are on the road, the tide is turning. Tesla service techs have done a good job of holding off the tsunami of complaints by Tesla owners. You can fool some of the owners some of the time but you can't fool all of the owners all of the time. Just visit some of the Tesla chat rooms to confirm that the future does not look good for Tesla. I have wiped the cobwebs from my eyes and now see what portends for the future of Tesla. I will be selling my Tesla 85 as soon as I can have the repairs made that are needed and being denied by Tesla service techs. Stay on it Paolo, your comments are appreciated.

Lots of negatives lurking in Tesla's tsunami of customer complaints.

Tesla Model S Critical Design Flaw
    33vico | September 25, 2015

On September 11, 2015 I sent the e-mail below to Tesla Motors:

Vico Confino owner Tesla delivered 12/21/2012

I was the happiest Tesla owner in the world. Today I am the unhappiest owner.

In mid August I stopped at a fast food restaurant to pick up lunch. When I returned to my Tesla and attempted to back up I heard a scrapping sound from the front of the vehicle, followed by a loud thump hitting the ground. When I exited my vehicle to see what had made that sound I saw the complete front bumper had detached itself from the auto. A total stranger who was in parking asked what had happened. We found that numerous black plastic snaps holding the bumper to the car were on the ground. I asked him if he would help me put the bumper back so I could get back to my office. We were able to re-attach the bumper with a few of the snaps The next day I called service center at Davie, Fl and spoke with a service technician whom I had met on previous visits. He advised that I bring my Tesla in to have it looked at. A Tesla service technician took the car into the building and returned about 15 minutes later telling me that he had reattached the snaps and the auto was fine.

Yesterday 9/10/2015 I went to see a client and parked in front of the building. When I returned and began to back out of the space I heard the same scrapping noise and the thump of what I now knew was the bumper hitting the ground. I called the Davie service center and asked for Leidys was busy and then I asked for Luis whom I had met on my last visit. It seems everyone was at a meeting and would call me back. I then called Tesla road service and spoke with Peter. He said he would have a Road Ranger come and take me to a body shop for a repair. I explained that this was not caused by an accident I did not understand why I would have to make an insurance claim. The temperature at the time was 99 degrees.

I was told I would receive a call from the towing service to confirm they were coming. After waiting for over an hour I called my office and asked my manager to come and see if we could lift the bumper back on the car and reattach it with the plastic snaps. Just at the moment he arrived a local mechanic pulled into the parking area. Being desperate by this time, I asked him if he could help. I was in luck, he was with the help of my manager able to put the bumper back on the car. He told me he was not able to get all the snaps back but if I followed him to his business he could attach more of the snaps. He secured all but about 5 of the snaps. I was able to drive to my home as the time was now about 7PM.

I am very displeased with explanations given to me by the Tesla
Davie service center. I will be glad to share the reasons they posed for this situation happening twice in three weeks.
I will not return to the Davie, Fl service center and request that someone at the factory level executive division contact me as soon as possible. I have lost confidence in driving my Tesla since I truly believe that the bumper snaps could be jarred off and the bumper fall off while I am driving. I have only 11,600 miles on the odometer and have maintained the auto like a new born baby. I would like to resolve this situation in an amicable way and not wait until someone is killed or seriously injured because of this apparent design flaw.
Tesla promises to return my calls, have not been kept (09/29/2015)

Audi must think outside the bun to resolve their problem.
"For lack of a hole, the donut was lost".
With that being said, I will humbly reveal my simple solution to Audi and all other pretenders of electric auto manufacturers.
    Plan E
Proceed to boldly contract with Elon Musk to design a system that will benefit all parties. They would save billions of dollars not having to build their own charging stations. Offer Elon something that would motivate him to donate his brain to the task.
#1 Offer Elon the exclusive rights to establish a Mars colony.
#2 Offer Elon the exclusive rights for Space X for all interstellar travel.
    # 3 Offer Elon the exclusive rights for Solar City to install solar panels in the universe.
One or all three would certainly motivate Elon to take a day off and design the system.
I of course take no credit for this plan other than to recognize that high school graduates do contribute to peace and prosperity on earth.
    Anyone disagree?
Please use Nikola Tesla's invention of AC electric to respond.
Do not threaten me, you're too late.

For your edification the "Noble Prize" was established by me to see how many naysayer SA commenters could spell. The back of your hand response is welcomed.
In as much as I created it, I can claim whatever I want. I chose to be a winner.

I received a call from Hollywood asking if I was available for an interview.
You can check with Hollywood air conditioning in Hollywood, Fl for verification not.
Now that you know where I am coming from you can rest assured that at 82, I will reach the promised land before you.
Have a great day and please try laughing a little more.

May I add that these perennial naysayer's ought to thank their lucky stars that Elon Musk did not stay in South Africa and do what he is doing for the U.S. auto industry that still doesn't understand that EV autos are the future of our sinking economy.

    Hello John,
Thank you for your reply and sentiments. Now I know there are two of us who care.
Since you took the time to view Coach Ostro's website you may want to read a book I wrote in 1985 of a very unique first person experience. When the book sold out I realized that what good are an author's words if no one can read them. I proceeded to put the book on the web FREE for the world to read and perhaps gain some knowledge. Go to
Aside from that i was able to visit the UK upon invitation from Wood Brothers furniture company about 50 years ago I believe they were in Hartfordshire. Best remembrance of the English pubs and their ambiance. Found myself wandering around a centuries old cemetery adjacent to the pub. Your right life is good and we must challenge it everyday to get the most out of it.
Stay well my friend and I look forward to meeting up with you at the next level we reach after earth
