Significant Value in Combined Siri/XM from Merger Synergies - Citi [View article]
Tyler all I can say your reports raise optomism. I purchased my 1000 shares of Sirius 4 years ago. The price I paid was $1.62 and it looks like the price will drop to my original purchase price. But I will not sell under no circumstances.
Sirius and XMSR will do well together. Time will tell. I have great confidence in Mel who I am sure will do what is right should both satilite companies work to the benefit of the consumers as well as investors. Mel as a CEO has a proven track record. Patience is often rewarding and I hope the long wait for the FCC to finally approve the merger will prove both beneficial and rewarding to investors. I have confidence it will.
Will XM Shares Still Exist on Monday? [View article]
Tyler another good message. As far as commenting is concerned I decline to make one. Investors have been frustrated too long and as you say the whole matter of the companies merging is yet to come to a conclusion. Mel will get it done. I am convinced and therefore will hold on to my 1000 shares of Sirius which I purchased four years ago. Lots of luck to holders of both Sirius and XM; with patience perhaps we may yet see a bullish trend for the combined satilite companies.
Why Did Adelstein Reverse His Position on the SIRI-XM Merger? [View article]
Great Article and the comments concerning Adelstein are justifiable. Lets hope that the FCC vote will end up being 3-2 to allow the Sirius and XM merger to proceed.
XM Announces Agreement With Noteholders in Good Move for Merger [View article]
Tyler I always enjoy reading your comments concerning the proposed Sirius and XMSR merger. However, I see this whole matter as a conspiriacy by of course the liberal democrats. I repeat one of my earlier comments that efforts by the liberals are there to stall the issue until the General Election in November. In my opinion our once beloved nation the United States of America is currently in deep trouble thanks to both the liberal democrats and of course the complacent pocket liners of republicans. I am glad I am 77 years of age and grew up in a Nation Under God where the Government works for the people not the people for the Government. Previous comments are suggesting that we are headed for Socialism then extreme Socialism which is Communism. Who is to blame for this mess of course the American people who appear content in lining their pockets. The words greedy Americans is being belted around more often than not. I want to remind Americans that the Russians told us way back when that America we will not beat militarily. It will beat itself from within. There is hope for Americans but that hope is wanning day by day. The merger delay in my opinion hurts and cost both companies and may result in both eventually filing for bankruptcy. The question of America filing bankruptcy is also a realistic given current trends. Needless to say this comment is from an irate disgruntled American who loves his country but seeing it head on the wide road to destruction. Another Babylonian Empire? Heaven help us. Man is not the answer but God is. That is right never discuss politics or religion. What a farce. That is not in the Constitution of the United States of America as founded by our forefathers who in my opinion would turn over in their graves if saw what was happening to their once beloved nation; a nation of freedom and again A Naiton Under God. We need another Reagan to rise to Presidency.
American Government needs more term limitations for elected and appointed officials. The Presidency has term limitation why not the congressmen, the House and the Seneate. From the comments made it appears people are beginning to get fed up with government bureaucracy. Another frustrated stockholder. A minor investment in Sirius Stock.
Sirius and XMSR's Six Year Prison Sentence [View article]
Gino you are right. The whole merger matter is a circus. Both Sirius and XM have been held hostage too long. No doubt an abusive comment from a frusted minor stock holder.

The whole matter of approving or disapproving the merger of Sirius and XMSR is obiously political. Wouldn't surprise me if the decision is put off until after the election in November. The whole matter is rediculous and keeping the satilite companies in the dark for such a long time is not only reduculously unfair but costly to the companies who are struggling for the first time to achieve profitability status.
Sirius/XM Merger: What Happens if It Doesn’t Happen? [View article]
The posted articles by Stan Muse and the 2 posted articles regarding Stan's I find very acceptable and encouraging. Satilite radio is here to stay. It is a media not only for entertainment but a way of spreading the Good News throughout the world. The posted article by For Better is a good one. I am not a holder of XM stock but am optomistic that both companies will survive despite the final decision of the FCC. This article is posted from one who has a small investment in Sirius; 1,000 shares of Sirius stock which I have held for some three or four years and will continue to hold in any event.
Antitrust Institute Petition to Block Radio Merger Lacks Substance [View article]
All investor and subscriber comments are right on. If the merger is not approved we will still have two satalite companies that have never posted a company profit since incorporation. And if the merger is to be denied there is no guarantee that either Sirius or XM will survive. And should one not survive you would then have what constitutes a monoply since there will be only one satilite company. Which is more desireable two companies two companies under one roof or no satilite company at all. Millions of subscribers to both Sirius and XM rely on satalite radio for their entertainment. May the FCC and Congresstional approval soon make their verdict. Approve or disapprove the merger and lets not keep millions of stock holders holding on to "hope".
November Satellite Radio Sales Better Than Expected [View article]
It would be nice if the FCC would come out with a decision on the merger of the two satilite radio companies Sirius and XM. For one who has held Sirius stock for some three years (1,000 shares) the decision to allow the two companies to merge would make a nice Christmas present for all stock holders of the two companies. Both companies alone will struggle to become profit enterprizes. If the merger is sanctioned then I believe the entire public including all subscribers will benefit.
