  • A Double Bottom For Gold? [View article]
Larry Kudlow says this is NOT bottom for gold. he says gold is going to drop another $500-600. if that's true best place to be is in puts on GLD and SLV. why even bother with stocks? mo money to be made in options and faster too.

  • It's Official: Gold Is Now The Most Hated Asset Class [View article]
i have just been buying puts on gld since april 12, 2013. since gld seems headed nowhere but down and everyone hates gold, buying the puts on the etf has been like finding a slot machine that always pays off. last week i sold my entire position in SPY and put it all in gld puts. if the current downward trend continues i should be able to buy one of those new Teslas by the end of this week. whatever is driving gold down , keep it up . i need that new car.

  • What's Bad For Gold Is Good For Stocks [View article]
if this article is correct there is a lot of money to be made by shorting GLD. In fact there is probably more money to be made by shorting GLD than in stocks.

  • Tesla Falls As General Motors Announces Weak Demand For Volt [View article]
For someone with that kind of net worth , the cost of fuel for a car really doesn't matter. Also someone worth millions does not need a $7500 tax credit. finally , people in that income group qualify as the 1%, if that is the volt's target group, the market for it will always be very limited

  • Ensconced in a conference call, eurozone finmins are discussing providing up to €100B in support for Spain's banking sector, according to a source, with a formal request coming as soon as today. At this point, Spain will not be subject to the same sort of oversight Greece, Ireland, and Portugal have submitted to.  [View news story]
If the amount suggested is 100 billion euros today, I would bet the real number is 500 billion euros.

  • Facebook's IPO Has Just Become A Sucker's Bet [View article]
just specuating on why GM decided to "unfriend" Facebook. A recent study by Zipcar found that people in the 18-34 age group had a declining interest in buying a new car. the reasons were a concern for the environment, an interest in collaborative sharing of reasources, the high cost of cars and fuel and insecure employment. this is also the group with the highest usage of Facebook. By continuing to advertise on FB, GM was spending ad dollars to target a group that had a declining interest in purchasing its cars. so maybe GM got something right for once

  • MF Global (MFGLQ.PK) had been using client cash for "several days if not weeks" before its bankruptcy rather than, as previously thought, just a few days prior, Reuters reports. If true, it would pose the question why CME (CME) reviewed MF's books a week before the bankruptcy and found no problems.  [View news story]
The CME does NOT deserve a tax break from the State of Illinois.
