  • Take A Profit, Lose Out On The 'Ultimate Bonanza' [View article]
"Yet a hypothetical $10,000 investment at the end of 2004 - when shares were priced higher than ever - would now be worth about $23,000 a decade later."

Same hypothetical investment sold in 2007 and purchased again in 2009 would net you even more a decade later. Sometimes, you've got a bonanza on your hands and you don't even know it.

  • Linn Energy: Intriguing 5-Year Investment If You Want Lots Of Income [View article]
The debt is the killer for this stock so it's important to know more about it. Long term, rates, etc? If it's long term low rate, fantastic, if it's medium or short, then not good considering a rising rate environment. Add in a potential pullback in the marketplace and I'm not sure how the stock would hold up.

  • Is Target's Yield At 3.6% Worth The Risk? [View article]
I'm down 7% and at one point 12% in my TGT position. I should have gone overweight my position at the 12% red point but didn't. Still considering adding more to potentially replace Intel if the dividend isn't raised.

  • It Appears As Though Shares Of Bank Of America Will Be Taking A Hit On Monday [View article]
"Over the longer haul, I have been dead on about this being dead money."

Lets take a look at the accuracy of this statement. I see roughly 40 articles of BAC since 2012. In examination, you started being wrong about the stock early at the end of 2012.

    Dec. 14, 2012 - "... sitting with dead money for 2013 ... "
    Oct. 14, 2012 - "... I just might want to buy a bunch more ... "

In the 18-19 articles before Oct 14th that you were mostly bullish the stock, the company, the direction and implementation of New BAC, along with the economy and BAC in the economy of the time. However after that December 2012, the next 17 articles on the stock were decidedly bearish. Minus the 3 articles where you admit you were wrong about the stock. Since the end of 2012 when the stock was trading at $10.xx dollars you were negative tone in your articles.

Seems at best you've been right about the stock 50% of the time since 2012. Right up there with flipping a coin odds.

Since your "It's time to take the profits" and 180 degree turn around on the stock, the stock has returned another 50% to date.

  • It Appears As Though Shares Of Bank Of America Will Be Taking A Hit On Monday [View article]
In the past 6 months the author of this article has written several articles proclaiming the imminent and drastic fall of $BAC stock, only to shortly there after follow with an article with the admission that the author was wrong. In the articles, wild predictions are made about the stock falling precipitously to somewhat unrealistic levels.

When a person makes wild claims, then retracts those claims, then makes them again, and retracts them, and then claims and retracts, again and again and again. At this point it becomes clear that the authors opinion can no longer be trusted on a particular topic.

The conclusion that the author has drawn from his body of evidence has repeatedly been shown to be wrong. The authors strong personal belief unfortunately does not make a stock price move. The facts are the facts, the authors interpretation of that facts has been proven to be false repeatedly.

If anything I would urge the editors not to approve articles that flip flop repeatedly again and again. Especially those known to contain hyperbolic claims only to retract them in follow up articles.

BAC is dead money. No I'm wrong. BAC is going to 12 dollars. No I'm wrong. BAC will follow the market lower....

    Rinse, repeat.

I enjoy your other articles, but the BAC ones are pretty weak comparatively. One article says BAC is going down, the next admits fault, then the next says it's going down again, then the next admit fault.

We've been through this before. Just stop writing about BAC. The cycle diminishes your overall brand as a writer in my view.

  • Lowe's Vs Walgreen: Which Retailer Is Best For Shareholders? [View article]
A current PE comparison probably isn't a good determination of valuation. Example, WAG's 5 year mean PE is 16.51, the lowest is 9.87 while the highest was May 7th at 24.3.

This would mean you're paying the maximum premium for the stock.

Lowes has a 5 year minimum PE ratio of 12.08 with the highest PE ratio being Jul 23, 2013 at 25.92, the average being 19.27.

Both stocks being nearly at maximum historical pricing.
