  • Apple Developing New MacBook Ether?  [View article]
My guess would be that Apple would have better tools for getting things done in the cloud before they launch something similar to a Chromebook ( Chromebook has google docs, etc, and I doubt Apple would want to send their users in Google's direction ). I could see Apple buyin Zoho, but I think it would be too much work to make Zoho meet Apple criteria for slick design.

  • Uni-Pixel Has Ballooned From Hype, Not A Better Technology  [View article]
If UNXL spent as much on R&D as they do on paying pumpers to create profiles, they may have produced a viable product by now.

Thanks for the article. Verifiable facts are always appreciated!

  • Why Is Uni-Pixel Falling?  [View article]
He's probably not at risk. It all makes sense now. He's in NIcaragua.

Excellent article. Thanks for taking the time to put it together!

  • Uni-Pixel: A True Analysis Of Risk Vs. Reward  [View article]
You're absolutely correct. Whenever a one-trick-pony company is being sued over there product, that's a great sign. Buy all you can. The company will continue the Press Releases that are 100% fluff, and this stock will go to at least $100. Shucks, even this here article was good for a 15 cent bounce on massive volume. Still closed down 5.63% today, but this downtrend on accelerating volume must be some kind of accumulation or something.

I'll stay short, for your "crushing" enjoyment, if you promise to stay long until the final capitulation.

Based on your theory, where do you see the stock pricing going from the current $520. There are over 28,000 open calls at $500. Do you think "they" will close it below $500 at expiration?

  • Update On Natural Gas: The Only Predictable Path Right Now  [View article]
Paulo, risks aside, do you see any NG pure play stocks with as much potential upside as the price of nat. gas itself?

Ng trucks don't have the power of a diesel yet. Fine for garbage trucks and flat areas. Not as good for heavy loads and hilly terrain. Ng tanks need to be much bigger for long haul. Will improve with time, and there's a definite emissions complexity advantage.

Tom - how would you play this with options? Doesn't look like any of the palladium ETFs have options.

phxcrane - Usually a better idea to short with puts / put spreads. Keep in mind that short interest is high on TSLA, so they are either right, or squeezed... ( or both ).

  • Chesapeake (CHK +0.2%) stands by its plan to expand its oil production, saying it will spend 90% of its planned $7B capital budget for 2013 on drilling in oil fields, including ~40% earmarked for the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale formation. CHK still plans on spending 7% of capex on dry gas production despite depressed gas prices.   [View news story]
So the 2nd largest NG producer in the US says they are focusing on Oil for now. Does that help NG prices?

Todd - I like this strategy, but for the reason you mentioned ( nat gas price recovery potential ), I wouldn't risk initiating the trade on UNG at this point. Do you know of any other ETNs besides VIX-related that would be good candidates? If I have time to screen, I will post any potentials for feedback. Thanks for the article.

Todd, I think I need to side with "The Champ" on this one. Please refrain from providing us with well thought out facts and logical thought. Anything more than "Buy, Buy, Buy,", or "Sell, Sell, Sell!" is likely to confuse us penny stock traders.

But seriously, I really appreciate your articles. Keep em coming.

  • The day's trading comes to a merciful end for Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR -39%), and some analysts find the stock's crash inexplicable. Roth Capital's Anton Brenner calls the market’s reaction “ridiculous": Changes in some retailer inventory levels can be traced to K-Cup price increases; "if so, this implies absolutely nothing regarding future sales trends."   [View news story]
True. But the music hasn't stopped. Projections going forward are still strong.
