Dave Chapman, Chairman and CEO founded The NorthPoint Group in 1992. Mr. Chapman has served on the board of directors for a number of both private and publicly held companies where he also serves as audit and compensation committee chairman and currently is active and holds two corporate board seats. Dave has a master’s degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and was a recipient of the MIT Corporate Leadership Award in 1987. Dave joined IBM in 1958 as an engineer and held executive positions throughout the company until 1981. From 1981 to 1992, he held several executive positions as Senior Vice President at Data General. He then was offered CEO at Cullinet Software, CEO at Computer Power Group and General Partner at Landmark Partners.

Very much an average Joe (Steve) who is now focused on retirement. I have worked in public safety in one form or another for the last 40 years. I was previously employed by a police agency in an administrative capacity. I retired in November 2014 after 22 years of employment with them.
After floundering with investments for the last couple decades, I've finally found what seems to be a comfortable niche. In 2011, I began working my way into the world of dividend growth investing. I still have many things to learn but I think I have a basic grasp of the concept.
