  • Lloyds' Latest Invention to Fatten Its Capital Base: Not Much There for Investors  [View article]
Lloyds Bank and their Directors ...wernt that smart in juggling the finance of the existing shareholders back in 2008 .. when it BOT into the obviously collapsing HBOS bank that was openly riddled with debt and bad loans ...
This was done under the conivance of the UK Government...who have now walked away holding 43% of Lloyds stock and left the Lloyds shareholders without any dividends and upto an 83% loss on investment value.
Where were the Directors "smartes" or fiduuciary responsibility only a few illfated months ago?
Now we have some "Now you see it/now you dont " sharp practice. ..right?.
All my opinons..however, check the historic facts and do your own DD on this outfit.

IOHO Nothing but speculation, and sensasionalism..in an effort to present a reporter of knowledge and intelligence.

  • Short Ideas: Lloyds and U.S. Bank Stocks  [View article]
You are all going to miss the UPTURN

Dont you know that BoE is going to buy up Corporate Bond in a tranch of 50 Billion.
    Brilliant.
Frees up funds for the Banks
Gets completly away from the Subprime and mortgage disaster,
Will definatly get the UK economy back in the hands of the London financiers.
Banks can now loan to reputable Corporation at honest and valued rates....and make a profit.
Tranch is a bit small but can be increased.
This is the long awaited 'Turnround Point"
    Life is Good.

Lloyds TSB..in the UK.. Has been a trusted and loyal bank in paying regular and honest dividends to its investors.

  • Fortis Fails: Who's Next? [View article]
IOHO a paid " Scare Monger" and "Sensationalist" ?
Lloyds bank has been around for over 250 years and has steered clear of the sub-prime mess.
The amalgamation with HBOS is a no cash stock deal.
Actually" Fortis" completely over extended itself on the NV Ambro purchase and lost their posterior.
Understand Leverage, is a normal part of Bank investing and
    is well regulated.
Wonder how much this guy got paid for this article.?

  • Lloyds Buys HBOS: Good Deal or Bad? [View article]
LLoyds is getting this merger at a gift price along with the UK Goverment approval. and sanction ( Which they coulnd get with Abbey, that eventually went to Santander/Spain)
Knowledge and Experience is worth far more than obscure numbers on leverage ...Lloyds has been in finance and banking for about 261 years and in our opinion, knows what it is doing when it merges with HBOS
Lloyds are pros and know exactly what is going on in the market and the world.
It is strongly stated that a large China bank is taking a heavy stake in Lloyds...what a combination , ....onwards and upwards.....
Alpha.....Call back in two years on the value of Lloyds.

  • Lloyds TSB: Still a Good Bank but Invest with Caution [View article]
Do you honestly think LYG, the ultimate in financial conservancy, wouldnt look carefully at the quality of loans being accepted into cancara.?
If LYG did (IOHO) not carefully view acceptance of doubtful loans into its cancara structure this would would be an act of gross neglect in its fiduciary responsibility towards shareholders..somethig we cannot invisage or believe being accepted from /byLLOYDS.
However, we will watch the situation.
    Thankyou for your views.
