Panglossian: adj. excessively optimistic, characterized by the mindset that “all is for the best in this best of possible worlds.”

Especially with looming recessions, credit downgrades, global insecurity, and incompetent politicians constantly squeezing every panglossian drop from investor sentiment. However, excitement lies in the realization that there is a way to be profitable in any market environment.
