    Anyone know why $RDS.B drips the Dividend into RDS.A? Didn't know this....and what are the tax implications for this

    • Energysystems: Your broker most likely enrolled you into in Shell's DRIP, the Scrip Dividend Programme SDP pays dividends in RDS.A shares only...

    • Energysystems: As for tax implications, since RDS.A is hq'd in the Netherlands, future dividends from your RDS.A shares would have a 15% withholding tax.

    • whitkrieng: Can you enroll into a Dividend Program for RDS.B shares only? Doesn't make sense to have me hold RDS.A and RDS.B.

    • Energysystems: If you talk to your broker, and specify that you don't want be enrolled in the SDP, but do want to drip RDS.B divi's back into RDS.B shares-

    • Energysystems: A lot of brokers just go through SDP, to make it simpler for themselves. Just specify what you want, and what you don't.
